See the funny thing is Resistance was never particularly good. It was a slightly above average shooter and the only reason it has the following it does is because it was the only game worth playing for months when the PS3 was first released.

thats why there was a resistance 2 that was selling good and alot of people liked it and certainly not because there were no games for the ps3 in 2008? well there were alot so how come resistance 2 was selling so good while according to you its just above the average?

@Fireworkatheart Resistance was a good series because it had a good story and excellent multiplayer. The graphics and controls weren't my favorite, though.

It wouldn't have gotten good reviews if what you're saying is true.

@chrome289 Whoa, calm down dude. I'm no console fanboy if thats what you're asking. All I said was Resistance was never a brilliant game but got a lot of praise because it WAS brilliant compared to what was on the market at the time. Its a pretty decent series but not as great as people tend to make it out to be.

@Fireworkatheart Resistance 1 is still many peoples favorite game... even now. Resistance 2 still holds up, i love that game. Resistance 3 is going to have amazing visuals and physics, as you can tell from this trailer, the chimera's bodies react to explosions and gunfire, not built in sequences when you fire a certain weapon.

@Dust24311 just get resistance 2 lol, i played it but no R1, plus u will get the story either way when u play R2 because it starts as the main character (lol forgot his name) and get slowly starting to become the chimera and u search for cure bascially, buy it

For me, the story of Resistence is excellent. The first game was amazing single & multiplayer, the second only the single player because the multiplayer was unfair.

@robertcvt i agree they should kept it the old way. i hate playing class types of games. also hated the first one cuz other ppl would use aim assist even on ranked games. although it made it very chalenging for me and i liked it. :D
