So even with temperatures estimated to about 1800F in the building, the steel structure would not have reached that high, how high would it be? A rough estimate would probably put it at 1000F, because of all the steel involved.

None of the 9 recovered panels from the fire floors of WTC 2 were observed to have been directly exposed. More than 170 areas were examined on the perimeter column panels. Only 3 locations had evidence that the steel reached temperatures above 250 °C, and these show no evidence of exposure to temperatures above 600 °C for any significant time

The mystery of WTC7 is not that it collapsed. The mystery is that the visible facade (north and west) dropped simultaneously at free fall acceleration for 25 meters. No one who was awake during high school physics can accept a glib dismissal of these facts.

I pointed out you could remove two diagonal legs from a table and it would still stand. He's blowing smoke. I'd like to hear him explain how asymmetrical damage = symmetrical collapse, and how freefall acceleration can occur in a 'progressive collapse'.

What unit of measurement and which components on the building are using to claim that the collapse was symmetrical?

After you are done explaining you can then tell us at what point you would consider the collapse assymetrical.

You would better serve yourself by trying to understand NISTs explanation for the collapses rather than pretending you understand then trying to refute them.

don't know which architecture school you went to, but they do teach you basic engineering and structures. That's the point. WTC7 is a no brainer for most people. In fact, if you have ever played Jenga you would understand the basic principles involved. And I've seen engineers trying to be architects and they suck at it believe me!

The fact that you do not directly understand the reason for the collapse and have to "relate" to it through a game like Jenga is the reason you are a 911 Truther.

You simply lack the technical skills to understand NISTs explanation so you blame explosives instead.
