I see random beings or moving static almost like a bunch of ghosts doing the jazz hands in my face when im trying to sleep. Been there since iwas 10, just recently started thinking i might try to get to know them.

@jas2783 i think meditation is the best way to do it, even though i don't do it cause i'm too lazy and don't bother, otherwise i think as long as you have a longing for it you will reach it at some point, its really subtle and sometimes it comes and goes but at one point it will stay with you. I haven't reached the point when it does, but i notice it through a type of peace and calmness inside of me. Also look to nature, feel it, see it & be a part of it. Keep longing and you will find it :)
I understand exactly what you mean with feeling no emotion but at the same time feeling compassion. I would explain it in a 'just being' feeling, just being and nothing else. But its so hard to get rid of those roller coaster emotions, they just keep going and going at you. I hope that we all manage to get to that point before its to late if there is a too late. That is probably one of my biggest questions but at the same time knowing the answer to it is it going to help....life lol :))))))
@datije Yes. Its "just being". But i would repeat a very fundamental point; You cant try & get rid of anything. Wanting to not want something is also a desire,& desires feed emotional outbursts. The key is dont try to do things but to realize. Gurdjieff talked about thought watching. When you watch the thoughts & emotions in you like a 3rd person,the chain starts breaking. When you fully realize that its the thoughts & emotions that cause all suffering,they will cease,what is left is Awakening.
@hereltch You cant have it if you "Need" it. Spirituality is the absence of the ego & in turn absence of desire (desire is a fulfillment of the ego/self). Needing to be something is a desire in itself. Also wanting to not want anything is again a desire. You cant try to attain it. cont... seeing lights and hearing things, go to nearest mental hopital. Sorry, but if you actually hear your gut feeling, something's wrong. With exception of hearing things, I think I have experience some of these especially, the eating healtier food and having more energy (thanks to me going to gym and exercise regularly).
The only time I have seen"stars" is when I acidentaly hit my head either to the wall or during exercise.
@rimidalvetarak i can see aura's and i have worked to be able to do so. i see energy of a variety of colors flowing and moving off of peoples bodies. Also i observe that bold colors such as red have auras too, and it is there oposite color. red has a green aura. blue has an orange aura. yellow has a purple/blue aura. So what say you to this, also i have been clinically tested for schizophrenia and mental illnesses when i was younger and am clean as a whistle . So i am definitally not crazy.

@rimidalvetarak Ah, but this is not a hidden talent that only i have, this is a hidden talent that almost everyone can develop. The ability to perceive energy(like the human aura) is, in my opinion, the next phase of human evolution. Now whether you want to call it spiritual or not does not matter. Its basically a matter of physics, and it is inevitable that we will experience it.
@rimidalvetarak The thing is we use ourselves(our chakras) to perceive it, instead of some external instruments. This may sound very radical to you, but to me and many i know, who are perceiving and experiencing similar things to me, and experiencing things described in this video it is logical. Check out Barbara Brennans books, she is real expert in this field, and it is because of her school that i know what i do about energy.

How can I say this,. Thanks for posting. i will comment on this; this "spiritual" things seems a bit ..... wishy washy to me. Chakras and what not, as far as I am concern is a concept about human body. This is why there are studies about the location of Chakras eg: in our bums, solar plexus. etc2. This has nothing to do with "spirit/ghost" whatever, it has everything to do with sense of balance and gravity and breathing.

@carmenvarelapy ego is a tool needed for survival in physical world. We simply need to take care of our bodies, also we need to fuction in social world. For this image of self based on memories is very useful. It should be balansed, with knowing true self. That was shamans work for most of our species life. Everyone is saying a spiritual awakening is coming and by the end of it we will all be at peace in 2012 but instead it seems like it's completely crazy. Ive always been in tune.For about 3 months now ive been having and experiencing many of these symptoms i feel weird sentations in my ears. I think there is a lack of expression from the videomaker about who they are and how come they reached the point of experiencing a "spiritual awakening". For me, this sounds like mumboo-jumbo/weird!
Spiritual awakening simply means you are questioning what you currently accept in your beliefs. My definition of being "enlightened" simply means you do not have limiting beliefs about what is and isn't possible. If you think about it, there are probably many beliefs you hold currently that limit your ideas about reality and truth. Recognizing what "spirit" means is to recognize that your current limiting ideas are due to only accepting physical reality.
All this talk about spirituality makes me wonder where is all that coming from. Mostly what is said about it is 100% gibberish and brainwash. So, WHAT is spirituality? WHY is spirituality? HOW is spirituality? And if its finally attained, WHAT NEXT?
95% of the times the explanation to those questions is wrong and totally misleading, they make you go in circles. I wonder if anyone from over the 1000 comments posted has the answers to those questions.
@jas2783 you want to fit spirituality into your left brain dominant paradigm of reality but its not working, is it? you need the balance of right brain aspects, yin and yang. develop intuition, that inner voice, don't let the scientific method be your prison cell. the brain is a more complex structure than the universe. figure out why. i recommend plato's allegory of the caves to get you started.

@jas2783 philosophy and metaphysical theory helped me bridge the gap to spirituality, as someone who was initially scientific in thought and questioning of abrahamic religion. ive been practicing astral travel for years and looking back on plato's theory of forms he wasn't far off from my conclusions. enlightened or not he was a bright man. but you're right philosophy isnt enough, nor is thinking. one has to feel intense honest emotion one way or another to begin to open up to whats true.
@jspunk88 Emotions are the most subtle things that hold you back. A spiritual being has no emotion in the true sense of the word, but he has compassion. Its tricky when you try to distinguish between the two. Emotion is a reaction of the mind to things that affect our ego (the self). Being happy,sad,angry,helpless,wronged,jealous etc are all the reactions of the ego to various things. Behind every emotion there is an Ego. As long as there's Ego, spirituality and enlightenment will be elusive.
@jas2783 I agree with you but dont forget that we are also beings of pure will. i believe that emotion such as happiness, anger, jealous are also what help us understands the others. So denying the ego isn't really the solution i believe. Now that he is part of us we just gotta have faith that he could be part of a better us. We must have faith that what makes us bad and good help us give the better of ourself. Once we accept this reality or limits we are ready to be limitless and accept wisdom.

The ego then works by believing that "I am spiritually motivated and hence spiritually superior than these other fools who dont have a clue.". @jas2783 Compassion is Compassion, it has a broad and thick line separating it from that of emotion. I believe that Compassion is the highest form of intelligence... A.K.A. 'Awareness of Emotions' is the highest form of intelligence and beyond this one is 'Emotional Awareness' which some of you might not know but Dolphins have it and whales, too. Humans have it but we are WAY much more complex and mostly choose to ignore it..

I feel love for the world and at one with it, but the downside is the cognitive dissonance of having to face the fact many others don't feel the same way.
I tend to keep my "abilities" a secret. When I tried to share them it cause a harsh backlash from even those closest to me. It didn't matter to them that I foresaw my own death and averted it. I continued seeing the pattern in secret until I met several others. We all feel we will be at the right place at the right time. Thankfully I have the anonymity of the internet to admit these things. I know I'm not alone. But most of the people I meet everyday do not understand.
When I was a very young child, I thought of the color yellow. I was told that this color is yellow but I would think to myself and my mind would say it could be green to someone else and blue to another person or red. However, everytime I would observe this color yellow, I believe in the possiblity that others see it as a different color but we all agree that it is yellow. I was six.
I went through this at 19 I remember going exactly where i needed to go so I could get better, and I have. It's funny because they diagnosed me with bipolar, I remember it just being the most amazing feeling, as if i was some how connect to some higher being. I Know i'm exactly where it is I need to be.. and how its come this way is all a result of that. I feel though at times if I lost it, its not as powerful as it once was when i first encountered it
funny.. the 6th sign happened to me once, very prominently, since your most open to the spiritual side of things right before you go to sleep and when you just wake up, my mom passed away just a year ago, though only a few months after she passed, i was still in my grade 12 year and i awoke one morning to hear her calling me once from the kitchen, exact same tone and voice, just like she use to do when she'd wake me up from downstairs.

@kayvansrt8 "Spirituality" or "Enlightenment" has nothing to do with God or Religion. Those two are fabrications of the human mind. Equating religion with "spirituality" is polluting the the "spiritual" experience.
Those are labels put upon people by those who do not understand what reality is beyond their own ideas. It's pretty easy to label someone crazy when you think you know everything and those who don't agree are the ones who don't know. This doesn't mean people do not accept these labels put upon them by others, and thus act out that belief. But even then, that is their choice to deny their own freedom of belief and instead choose another's.
@MrUlutraman than you will be giving drugs from the doctors to end these spiritual awakening and be a government (ahem) slave for the rest of your life. Im fine because what i have is actually natural so i have to stay natural so i can reach my full potential. But thanks i know what an actually sign of what those are and you have em i bet. @jas2783 i think meditation is the best way to do it, even though i don't do it cause i'm too lazy and don't bother, otherwise i think as long as you have a longing for it you will reach it at some point, its really subtle and sometimes it comes and goes but at one point it will stay with you. I haven't reached the point when it does, but i notice it through a type of peace and calmness inside of me. Also look to nature, feel it, see it & be a part of it. Keep longing and you will find it :)

I understand exactly what you mean with feeling no emotion but at the same time feeling compassion. I would explain it in a 'just being' feeling, just being and nothing else. But its so hard to get rid of those roller coaster emotions, they just keep going and going at you. I hope that we all manage to get to that point before its to late if there is a too late. That is probably one of my biggest questions but at the same time knowing the answer to it is it going to help....life lol :))))))

@datije Yes. Its "just being". But i would repeat a very fundamental point; You cant try & get rid of anything. Wanting to not want something is also a desire,& desires feed emotional outbursts. The key is dont try to do things but to realize. Gurdjieff talked about thought watching. When you watch the thoughts & emotions in you like a 3rd person,the chain starts breaking. When you fully realize that its the thoughts & emotions that cause all suffering,they will cease,what is left is Awakening.

cont... seeing lights and hearing things, go to nearest mental hopital. Sorry, but if you actually hear your gut feeling, something's wrong. With exception of hearing things, I think I have experience some of these especially, the eating healtier food and having more energy (thanks to me going to gym and exercise regularly).
The only time I have seen"stars" is when I acidentaly hit my head either to the wall or during exercise.

@rimidalvetarak i can see aura's and i have worked to be able to do so. i see energy of a variety of colors flowing and moving off of peoples bodies. Also i observe that bold colors such as red have auras too, and it is there oposite color. red has a green aura. blue has an orange aura. yellow has a purple/blue aura. So what say you to this, also i have been clinically tested for schizophrenia and mental illnesses when i was younger and am clean as a whistle . So i am definitally not crazy.

The ability to perceive energy(like the human aura) is, in my opinion, the next phase of human evolution. Now whether you want to call it spiritual or not does not matter. Its basically a matter of physics, and it is inevitable that we will experience it.

Absolutely amazing. Every single thing you listed has happened to me...especially becoming more sensitive to energies. I spoke to a girl online, and I "read" her house... I think there is a lack of expression from the videomaker about who they are and how come they reached the point of experiencing a "spiritual awakening". For me, this sounds like mumboo-jumbo/weird!

Spiritual awakening simply means you are questioning what you currently accept in your beliefs. My definition of being "enlightened" simply means you do not have limiting beliefs about what is and isn't possible. If you think about it, there are probably many beliefs you hold currently that limit your ideas about reality and truth. Recognizing what "spirit" means is to recognize that your current limiting ideas are due to only accepting physical reality.

All this talk about spirituality makes me wonder where is all that coming from. Mostly what is said about it is 100% gibberish and brainwash. So, WHAT is spirituality? WHY is spirituality? HOW is spirituality? And if its finally attained, WHAT NEXT?
95% of the times the explanation to those questions is wrong and totally misleading, they make you go in circles. I wonder if anyone from over the 1000 comments posted has the answers to those questions.

@jas2783 you want to fit spirituality into your left brain dominant paradigm of reality but its not working, is it? you need the balance of right brain aspects, yin and yang. develop intuition, that inner voice, don't let the scientific method be your prison cell. the brain is a more complex structure than the universe. figure out why. i recommend plato's allegory of the caves to get you started.

That happens only when you lose yourself. The "Self",the "Ego". The moment your mind associates itself with your spiritual being, your "Self" comes into action. Then there is nothing spiritual anymore. Hence, your statement about getting the brain in a balance will only lead to philosophy,not spirituality

He was a scholar of his time in philosophy & religion,not an enlightened soul. Philosophers are people who try to find the path & some may even reach the door,but thats as far as they can go,they can not enter it. Philosophy cant enlighten you. There have been greater thinkers & mystics than Plato,read them. Dont confuse spirituality with philosophy.

@jas2783 philosophy and metaphysical theory helped me bridge the gap to spirituality, as someone who was initially scientific in thought and questioning of abrahamic religion. ive been practicing astral travel for years and looking back on plato's theory of forms he wasn't far off from my conclusions. enlightened or not he was a bright man. but you're right philosophy isnt enough, nor is thinking. one has to feel intense honest emotion one way or another to begin to open up to whats true.

@jspunk88 Emotions are the most subtle things that hold you back. A spiritual being has no emotion in the true sense of the word, but he has compassion. Its tricky when you try to distinguish between the two. Emotion is a reaction of the mind to things that affect our ego (the self). Being happy,sad,angry,helpless,wronged,jealous etc are all the reactions of the ego to various things. Behind every emotion there is an Ego. As long as there's Ego, spirituality and enlightenment will be elusive.

@jas2783 I agree with you but dont forget that we are also beings of pure will. i believe that emotion such as happiness, anger, jealous are also what help us understands the others. So denying the ego isn't really the solution i believe. Now that he is part of us we just gotta have faith that he could be part of a better us. We must have faith that what makes us bad and good help us give the better of ourself. Once we accept this reality or limits we are ready to be limitless and accept wisdom.

The ego then works by believing that "I am spiritually motivated and hence spiritually superior than these other fools who dont have a clue.". Find the ego behind everything you have lived through. Everytime you feel something negative build up,look into it,you'll find the ego. 'Awareness of Emotions' is the highest form of intelligence and beyond this one is 'Emotional Awareness' which some of you might not know but Dolphins have it and whales, too. Emotions,in simple words are reactions of the mind to a stimulus. Hence awareness of that is the Awareness we talk about. There is no other thing to be aware about. Mind is not a physical entity. It is a psychological framework that is programmed in us, a set of emotions and beliefs. Intelligence is of the mind too

I tend to keep my "abilities" a secret. When I tried to share them it cause a harsh backlash from even those closest to me. It didn't matter to them that I foresaw my own death and averted it. I continued seeing the pattern in secret until I met several others. We all feel we will be at the right place at the right time. Thankfully I have the anonymity of the internet to admit these things. I know I'm not alone. But most of the people I meet everyday do not understand.

I went through this at 19 I remember going exactly where i needed to go so I could get better, and I have. It's funny because they diagnosed me with bipolar, I remember it just being the most amazing feeling, as if i was some how connect to some higher being. I Know i'm exactly where it is I need to be.. and how its come this way is all a result of that. I feel though at times if I lost it, its not as powerful as it once was when i first encountered it

funny.. the 6th sign happened to me once, very prominently, since your most open to the spiritual side of things right before you go to sleep and when you just wake up, my mom passed away just a year ago, though only a few months after she passed, i was still in my grade 12 year and i awoke one morning to hear her calling me once from the kitchen, exact same tone and voice, just like she use to do when she'd wake me up from downstairs.

@xAscari7738x yeah i remember times like that.. that happened to me alot, still does from time to time with me thinking of my dad in the same respects. and i think people joke about it alot and what not because many, many people are disbelievers and their highly skeptical. but with your parents i dont even know how thats right that they dont support you with this, but either way, practice ways of strengthening the abilities you have. :)

Those are labels put upon people by those who do not understand what reality is beyond their own ideas. It's pretty easy to label someone crazy when you think you know everything and those who don't agree are the ones who don't know. This doesn't mean people do not accept these labels put upon them by others, and thus act out that belief. But even then, that is their choice to deny their own freedom of belief and instead choose another's.
