  • The background music is the original theme from "Perils of Nyoka" 1942 Republic serial. The amulet of Vultura takes its name from the serial's villianess.  She had a gorilla named Satan too. The Crimson Skull is a take-off on the Crimson Ghost, another Republic serial.

  • Love these new Nyoka movies...Crimson Skull is a total douchebag, but you gotta love him! Satan is the only "dude" in these films with the right idea, but he always gets run off. And Nicola Rae is just super-freaking-hot!
