  • boxers don't box out of hate, but these girls are hating and beating each other up! i agree with you 100% brother. amen, as a christian also i dont think it's right for them to have been fighting with nobody stepping in to break it up. pro fighters are payed to entertain people, this isnt pro, and it's not entertaining.

  • Only to lawless thugs or those with the mentality of such. Word.

  • gr8.talk..ant...make this type of gr8..videos...& gr8 thoughts..

  • Thanks. Check out the video response I am about to approve.:-)

  • If two people freely choose to fight, pay or not (ultimate fighting champion) it is their choice, and I believe in a free country it is their right. It probably has a lot to do with testosterone levels or treatment as a child. Personally I think it is stupid, professional or not, but if someone broke into my home I would fight.

  • Oh by no means do I think fighting should be banned altogether. We have enough laws governing when and when not people can fight already and they are working out pretty well. There are a lot of reasons why people fight but your reasons are surely some of the main ones.Another is that some people lack social skills and therefore cannot get along with others.Fighting is definitely stupid but if someone broke into my home I am not sure what I would do. I guess it would depend. Thanks for the input.

  • its never okay whether you take money or not because if your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, then you should not purposely put yourself in harm's way. I'm sure God will/has given fighters other talents. they just use that one for monetary gain and you know what the bible says about money. :-)

  • I agree. I think I am done with watching violent sports.

  • I see your points but I do think the Bible,or particularly the New Testament, has a zero tolerance policy concerning violence,so to speak. Tells you to turn the other cheek. Tells you that they who seek to save their lives shall lose them. Has Peter(I think) being reprimanded by Jesus for in the process of defending Jesus cutting off a guard's ear. Tells you to bless your enemies and lets you know that those who follow the policy of an eye for an eye resist not evil. Feel me?

  • I think it's wrong ... its like that big thing we saw on CNN a while back.

  • hey webby, getting paid to beat each others brains out, lol. Well its legal if its boxing and illegal if its just fighting over whatever. And just plain wrong.IMO

  • I feel you. Violence is never right. I think eventually I will have to give up boxing and ultimate fighting or any sports in which folks are brutalizing each other. Even when professing Christians participate in such sports they can end up behaving as badly as non-Christians. For instance, take the example of Evander Holyfield,a professing Christian who was subject to head butt opponents if they were giving him too hard a time. So,not good. And,how can somebody thank God for beating somebody up?

  • However,I have found myself not watching boxing or ultimate fighting very often even though my dvr records those sports constantly and even though my dad gives my brother and I boxing tapes. It is like I am developing a lack of interest in violent sports, for the most part.Sometimes I will watch them but that is pretty seldom now. I guess one day I won't watch them at all. I guess I am making progress. Hmmm.

  • Now, my answer as christian is, this video's fucking stupid.

  • A Christian does not use language like that so you must not be a Christian. Therefore, you just lied. If you lied about being a Christian you most likely lied about this video being stupid. You are no doubt incapable of having an honest conversation with me or probably anybody else and since having a dishonest conversation with somebody is a waste of time I am done with you.You are blocked. Bye.

  • if u must fight 4 ur life or safety?

  • I would. :-)

  • Boxing and other professional events are under controlled circumstances. So when someone wants to stop, walking away is easy.

But a street fight is much different. There isn't a trophy or title belt for this. The only thing driving the fight is anger and hate. And walking away may not be very easy at all.

And since it's not under controlled circumstances, someone can get seriously and permanently hurt or killed! I will not stand and watch. I will do my best to break it up.

  • I agree. Thanks for the input, good friend:-)

  • before i started fighting someone

    i would try and run

its great if people think im a pussy

id rather be a pussy who ran

than the hothead who stay and got broke

if i couldn't get away i'd through a few here and there maybe enough to knock him off his feet and try and run then

starting shit is never ever justified

  • I agree with you and think it takes courage to retreat instead of fighting like everyone expects knowing full well that people will think you weak. That is being strong, for real.

  • Well we do live in a violent nation...We fight wars we have physical sports(Hockey, football, boxing,UFC)But fighting really never solves anything...unless its in self defense...

  • Only in self-defense do I think violence CAN BE justified but on the other hand the Bible seems to indicate we are supposed to turn the other cheek when assaulted or that if we kill to save our own lives that is not the will of God. However, I do not know if I will ever grow to a place in God where somebody could put their hands on me and try to do me harm and I won't try to defend myself. Or maybe I am misunderstanding scriptures. Hmmmm. Need input!!!! Where is MsGodDiva?

  • Yea where is she???

  • I don't know. That is why I was asking y'all.:-P

  • lol...

  • Hello, I am against all kinds of violence against human beings. I don't enjoy boxing at all. Maybe because I am a woman? I see it as extremely violent. Regarding two people fighting one another, say on the street, I personally would try to talk to them and calm them down. Hopefully, a larger man can come by and help to physically hold onto one of the batterers. And try to make peace with talking. Witnessing a fight to me is very distressing.

  • I think my like of boxing or paid violence is a function of me not being spiritually mature. I will probably come to dislike such things as I grow closer to God or grow up spiritually. I am still very much immature.

  • agreed

  • So,you do not have an opinion for me on whether or not I am being hypocritical or whether there is nothing wrong with me liking boxing and Ultimate Fighting but thinking that street fights are wrong?

  • Sorry about the video quality. It did not look like this when I recorded it. I do not know what happened.:-/
