wow. missed this one back when. "digital scanner". ahead of the curve as usual. i wish they'd have written a couple of scripts for "star trek". i am sure they'd have done better than " BOOM":"well, THAT got their attention, captain!"
With there now being so much CCTV surveillance footage & not enough people to monitor it (a situation predicted by George Orwell) the government recently proposed paying pensioners to sit at home & watch footage on their P.C.s (really)- Proving once again that it`s very hard for comedy to go low enough to take the piss out of real life.
@Gjeorje too late. skynet has already taken over the whole show , we are all coppertops supplying power while dreaming in the matrix. Sorry deacon, god's actually an AI program with ethics, morals, and good taste, and judgement better than ours. ay yi yi.
The first eleven minutes of this episode were completely insane. It was almost too much to take. Finally, the storage jar skit is more standard Monty Python.
is this the funniest monty python episode? I mean all the beginning, the cheese shop sketch, salad days, even the interlude at the end is just mind blowingly hilarious
NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!

"Storage Jars" would never be made today. Can you imagine hiring a reporter AND a presenter?

"HMS Defiant? Two set teas please."
The lifeboat house bit completely made up for the opening bit
You know, after "Deadliest Catch" and "Ice Road Truckers", Storage Jars looks like genuine quality Television.
