  • Your techniques are so fine :) And you raised an interesting point about practising our upper bodies first.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!, quieroo aprender algo de mariposa, para poder nadar un poco mal todos los estiloss....jajaja

  • song name?

  • hey it's really good!!!!

just one thing though ,should his shoulders be moving as deep as that? I've been told that movement is from the hips and by moving the shoulders you are making your kick less effective. is this true???

  • While not in streamline position, the shoulders move more freely. Trying to manipulate the upper lungs (this is the key), there is a certain movement of the shoulders as a by-product of the lungs manipulation.

    Hope it's clear now...

  • Oh right!!!

    yes thank you!! :D

  • hi.. joseph here, I don't understand the first statement about the (try not to use the legs) is it upper pelvis or lower pelvis that will move?.. need some advice.. thanks for your time..

  • Hi,

The motion is starting from the upper lungs - this is the most basic movement you should practice. Practicing the legs movement should be only until you KNOW how to manipulate your lungs and upper body (practicing legs movement is fairly easy)

  • @TotalImmersionIsrael Hi, so the motion is pushing the upper body up?

  • @yuetching Up and forward!

  • @TotalImmersionIsrael Can you please explain "manipulate the upper lungs" more? I use so much energy doing the Fly that I'm not even able to do two lengths.

  • beautiful~

  • he needs to put on some fins and make those ankles more flexible. But good technique
