He is really good. Way too many comedians just jell on the stage and talk fast and drop lots of "F-Bombs" so the audience doesn't have the time to decide whether it really is funny. But this guy is quiet slow and he knows when to let the audience finish the joke and stops talking at the right time. Nicely done :)

Keep in mind that his character is meant to be like a man/child (exg: Jack Black, Pee Wee Herman, Adam Sandler), so in this clip, the goal was to be "naive and innocent", the twist or irony or "wit" in this joke was the two having a simple and innocent conversation leading up to "Then we laughed and celebrated our differences". If you missed that joke, you're trying too hard. Have fun :)
