  • I just put a ASR upgrade kit in my Javelin M24 and for some reason when I pulled the bolt back it didn't catch, but it works fine with the original parts... Why is it not working...

  • @kbman99 INCOMPATIBLE.

  • @ASTKilo23 F*CK Maybe evike will take it back :)

  • Damn thats some nice custom work.... I have been browsing youtube for homemade airsoft videos for some time and it is rare to find talent like this. I tip my hat to you sir. That is the same trigger as the Maruzen APS type 96 if im not mistaken, a very nice trigger design. I plan to make a version like yours only to fit to the JG bar 10. The original VSR 10 trigger is a very bad design... Its just asking to break in the way it is designed :/

Thumbs up from me.... keep up the good work :3

  • Hi , I am recently re-building my VSR-10 trigger . But I dont know any place to buy the seres , if you know any sites to buy them and help me out that would be great . And sorry I forgot how to spell "sere thingy " lol

  • hey astkilo23 how much fps would i get with a laylax 150 spring if i put in the jg bar 10 and could i just get a zero trigger instead of trigger sears if i do put a 150 spring

  • Hey prodigy, I want to upgrade my socom gear r 700 to an m120 or m130. Do I need to upgrade my sears right away or cab I use the stock ones until I can get more money? Also can you tell me where to get laylax sears because I cannot find them.

  • @AirsoftFor3ver if you do not have the money to upgrade, then use the stock sears until the break.

  • what is the part that you push down at 8:22? mine is worn...but my sear is stable...do you think thats the problem??

  • no its the point thing sticking up from the gear box, the spring to that..:p not the one you have your thumb on but the other one.

  • hey man help me out ASTKilo23, please. lol okay pause the video at 5:17 and tell me how to put that spring in to the left of your thumb (on your right hand) please because mine fell out and idk how to assemble it all without something falling out. Thanks man.

  • @Dustbunni2012 if you mean the spring right in front of the trigger, try putting the spring in first, then the trigger.

  • hey man help me out ASTKilo23, please. lol okay pause the video at 5:17 and tell me how to put that spring in to the left of your thumb please because mine fell out and idk how to assemble it all without something falling out. Thanks man.

  • Dude that way easier than I thought. I'm going to buy a bar10 and upgrade it. But get the polar star sear set becuase it's durable and already put together. But yeah thank man and if you haven't already but could you make a bid of replacing the inner barrel of a vsr-10??? Great vid

  • @TheAirsofter8 i believe that in one video about the jg bar10 i say that sears tend to last between 2 and 6 months.

  • @ASTKilo23 how has the airsoftgi sear set been holding up and those two springs that you point out at 3:45 where did you get or make those?

    Thanks!

  • @ASTKilo23 hay i was just wondering if it is easy to put the gi trigger sear in because im not that good at doing that kind of stuff

  • shorten the intro boss

  • Many thanks for posting this, I was upgrading the trigger sear and 2ns sear, set pin ect, had a real problem trying the get the springs back into the right place,

and no I'm not 13 im 44 thanks again

  • Omg thnx sooooooo much.. My trigger box flew open and everything fell out... This helps sooooooo much

  • uk that little part u said that you need to replae soon. where can u get that

  • Hey do they make a specific zero trigger for the l96 or are they similar?

  • @RaZesnipers pss10 and pss2 parts are not compatible. laylax makes zero trigger specifically for the l96.

  • After I finish with my accuracy ups in my Bar10, I want to install an m150 spring hoping to achieve around 500fps. I know I have to at least replace the stock sears, but is it necessary for the reliability of my SWS to get a new trigger box for an m150, like the Noobie M trigger box?

  • @Slider993 you can, but i really do not think it is necessary. the sears take most of the abuse.

  • Hey i have a question abou the sear how much do u need to shave off for it to fit in the jg bar 10

  • @RedbullFuel1 i believe none. from what i have heard asgi have fixed the problem.

  • What about the PDI's V-trigger?

    Whats your opinion about it?

    Cheers

  • @Lacimail2 anything pdi makes is fairly good.

  • Each part I'd aroung 15 bucks on gi

  • how much is a new trigger box?

  • @darkstar3472 please look up prices on airsofting websites.

  • Dude this video is so helpful. i have a JG bar-10 and the piston sear broke because i upgraded the spring and piston and spring guide and didnt upgrade the sear. this helped so much.

  • K thanks. So if something were to break. What all in the trigger box would break? Just the sears or what?

  • Sorry if this is a stupid question and I'm not a ten year old haha but anyway if I upgrade my spring guide piston and m170 spring how long the stock sears last before breaking?(think as if there is no wear on the stock sears)

  • @lynnhaven4 with an m170 spring, the stock sears will probably last between 20 and 100 rounds, at most.

  • lol 12 year olds =( hahah, If i switch to a sear piston type, is the only other thing i need to switch out is to the zero trigger group? let me know thanks,

  • Did you have to sand or file down the airsoft gi trigger sear to get it to fit?

  • @FutureOfUSMC i used a metal file.

  • Awesome video dude! Great job showing us what to do. I'm subscribing if i haven't already because you make good video's that answer alot of stupid questions in this world.

  • THANK YOU

  • which of the 2 pins holds the trigger sear in place and which one holds the trigger in place because only one pin fits into the trigger sear and i think it is the wrong pin but they both seem to work but the shorter one doesn't seem to work with the trigger well. i think asgi drilled the hole in the trigger sear to small. thanks for the help

  • Well, I installed it correctly and it worked for maybe 3 shots and started repeating what it had done before. I used a few rubber rings to take the place of the springs you put in and it worked for about 10 more shots and did it again.

  • I just assembled all of my new airsoft GI PE upgrades, and as I pull the bolt as hard as I can, it never seems to catch the piston sear, and obviously slings forward. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening and keep the sear catching? thanks

  • I just got the ASGI Sear set and the 170 spring put it all together but now it slam fires. I have the socom hear r700, some people say i need to remove the paint on it so it can move freely in there. But i might try that thing with the 2 springs it might help. Do you know any thing else i should try because i really want this thing to work.

  • I replaced my piston sear and my bolt still shoots forward. Any suggestions please?

  • @Apacorn the most probable cause of this is that you did not install your piston sear spring correctly. its a real pain.

  • @ASTKilo23 It worked for about 1 or 2 shots and then it continued. Haha yea I have noticed it is abit of a pain to get it in correctly but Ive tried it with two rubber loops where you put the springs on the sides and thats when I got it to work for a few shots and then after a while the trigger would not release the piston.

  • @ASTKilo23 I also have the same problem i installed a new trigger and piston sear and my bolt still slam fires. However i can't see how the spring might be installed incorrectly. Any Help ?

  • what about the piston????

  • How can you tell if you need to replace the piston (Or bolt)? I have a spring pistol that did the same as the rifle. Im used to working with spring pistols but Im a little new to spring rifles.

  • @Apacorn the back lip of most spring pistols will break off. that part is irreplaceable. the piston sear of your rifle most likely stripped, as it does with most stock rifles.

  • @ASTKilo23 In your video, you said those two springs you put in the trigger box were there to make it more stable so your bolt wouldnt fly forward? I tried it and the same thing happens. That means I should only have to replace the piston sear? Btw I have the TSD SD700.

  • WOAHH somebodys on xbox live hahaha

  • Thanks i bought a sear set for a ma190 spring and it holds out perfectly.

  • On the newer bar10 u have to also take out the trigger screw its the biggest one on the trigger box just letting u guys know.

  • 2:53 xbox?

  • Can someone give me the part name at 3:28?

    Thanks.

  • Hey my JG Bar 10 has a problem, whenever I cock the bolt back it goes flying forward and I can't get any bullets in the chamber, what is this caused by?

  • @xXninjastatusXx stipped piston sear, needs to be replaced.

  • @ASTKilo23 Where can I find one?

  • 2:50 did I hear xbox live notifications?

  • At 3:28 that is the part that is fractured. Is that what's causing my bolt not to lock and what's the name of it?

  • orderd the r700 off airsoft gi the bar 10 was out of stock if i get a newpiston for it would i have to get a new sear set

  • i r dinz heer xbox 360

  • having hard time getting the little lock that holds that bolt to the rigger box out

  • nice realy

  • Why do you hate on kids i am 12 and i am not that way. We somtimes can be gay but dont think every one of us is.

  • @kurdt494junkie the majority of kids 12 and under still use spring guns in their back yards and are constantly asking about spring sniper seeing as they are the cheapest high end guns you can get, and some of the most powerful. it get very annoying.

  • @ASTKilo23 Ok i see what you mean.

  • so is that a jg bar 10, or a tm vsr 10? i know there both the same but i have to know thnx in advance

  • @broncofan165 the parts will fit both the bar10 and the vsr10. but the rifle in the vid is the jg bar10.

  • is it possible to upgrade the jg bar 10 to 500 or nore fps with .2 bb's?

  • @PHENOMinalkill it is possible to upgrade ANY airsoft gun to higher than 500fps, including the jg bar 10.

  • can you upgrade the jg bar 10 to over 500 fps with .2 bb's

  • And the spring that keeps this all frolicy and all

  • I hear the calling of the zero trigger for you lol

  • I replaced the trigger and piston sears with ASGI PE sears, and bought a 170 spring with a red 45* laylax piston, also the ASGI spring guide... my problem is it's always slam firing and no matter how much I mess with it, the thing won't work. Is it just incompatibility? I was hoping to avoid getting a Zero trigger but is that my only option? The piston sear has a slight bow shape worn into it from the slam firing and it can't even hold the stock spring with the laylax piston. Help! Thank you

  • usually when it is slam firing, it means the piston sear is stripped, but seeing that yours is brand new, im not sure what to tell you. you should contact asgi on this, or go to a local airosft shop and get their opinion.

  • thanks for the vid man, much help! cheers! =D

  • If you upgrade everything in the bolt, will you have to upgrade the rest ?

  • on an airsoft bolt action rifle, the correct term is the cylinder. it is only necissary to upgrade the sears and other parts if you install a high power spring,

  • Out of all the upgrades from Airsoft GI, do I need to get all of the upgade parts? The piston, trigger sear, spring guide, ect. Or Could I just get the piston, and a spring guide, and spring?

  • if you want the spring to work reliably in your gun, you need all of those parts. if you dont want the spring, then the parts are optional.

  • so am I. I airsoft in seattle. a lot of people come. last week there as 45 people there. it isnt formal just show up kind of thing. its right beside the airport. have you heard of it?

  • wow im special why did i even ask lol. thx for the answer. where do you airsoft (state)?

  • we are located in Washington.

  • 14 year old. ;)

thankyou for the video. it was very helpful. i just recieved a m190 spring and i want to know if the sear would take 6 games of sniping? or should i wait till i get my new trigger sear, spring guide, and piston guide? i already ordered them but they havent came yet and im going airsofting tomarrow.

  • well, since your replacing the parts anyway, i say why not go ahead and have some fun and break them. the sear probably wont last that long on that spring, but might as well try it.

  • according to airsoft gi you have to do some modification to the trigger sear for it to fit in the bar 10. How do you do that?

  • airsoftgi provides a vid to that on their page.

  • could u make a video on how to change out all the internals of the cylinder because the other videos dont show u how to drill the part out

    thanks

  • hey man, you said you had those 2 springs holding the trigger sear in place because it was wobbling. Is that a defect in the trigger box case or in the sear itself?

    Thanks

  • its not a defect. its just natural for the sears to do that.

  • Would the same thing happen for PDI sears? Or is that because the ASGI PE sears arent exactly compatible without modification?

  • its just how the asgi sears are designed. it is specific to them.

  • Hey, for the looseness on the rear, did you ever figure out a way to tighten that up? mines getting loose too (not as bad as yours yet tho.)

  • Comment removed

  • If I put a Laylax m150 spring in this and a deepfire sear set will I be alright or is there anything else you suggest getting.

  • on an m150 spring, i really suggust getting a metal spring guide and reinforced piston as well.

  • Alright I'll do that. Which piston is good to look at?

  • im personally not a fan of gas pistols. take a lot of money to maintain and dont last for very long. i would recommend a small aeg, like the mp7 or mp5k as a sidearm.

  • ? I asked about the piston lol. I have a GBB sidearm and it has failed on me before lol, that sucked. But what kind of piston should I be looking at getting?

  • sorry, i was half awake and misread that. the best pistons you can get in my opinion are the airsoftgi pe piston for $35 and the pdi reinforced piston for about $50-55.

  • Totally cool, and thanks I'll definitely look into those.

  • @TheDIRTwontHURT it really depends. if you treat it well, with luck, it should last for maybe a year without needing to be fixed. however, ive heard of some breaking even with great care in a few weeks or right away. mine broke after two months. and that presented a good opportunity to upgrade it.

  • where can i buy those parts? i want to get my jg bar 10 to 500fps+, where do i get the parts? xD

  • @narga13 you must be one of those 12 year olds i keep talking about. you must be deaf because i mentioned where to buy them in the video.

  • @narga13: get owned

  • google

  • I have now heard on a few other reviews that it doesnt matter if you get the sear because something will break or strip if you do not have a zero trigger which costs about $150-200 and i wanted to know if it is required or not

  • is it neccessary to get this when you upgrade the internals or (with the stock sears)will it just increase wear to the stock trigger box if you dont get the piston and trigger sear i was hoping to know so i can figure out how much money i need to save thx

  • the stock sears will strip enblieveable fast on an upgraded spring. you do also need a new piston, the stock one stripped on me within 2 months. a spring guide is also needed.

  • cool thx and also with all of these upgrades how much better grouping and accuracy would be brought by a tightbore barrel(6.03) and would it be worth the money?

  • hey man, if the gun is stock how long will it last ? if i dont wana upgrade anything on the gun will any internals ever need to be replaced ? plz reply cause iv heard about lots of bar10's breaking and i just wana no how this keeps happening

  • NIce Vid

Helped me install my laylax parts

    thx

  • hey would u recommend upgrading the Cylinder Head + Cylinder

  • those probably arent the most important things to upgrade. but if you are going for fps, then its most likely worth it.

  • thanks man for the guide! really helped me install the asgi PE trigger sear set!

  • thanks alot...after 2 months of trying to figure out what was wrong with my JG bar 10 trigger box...I finally know...the piston sear spring was non existent

  • If its so self explanatory, then why did u bother to make a video a video about it?

  • because 12 year olds wouldnt stop bugging me about it. i figure if they want to break their guns, ill show them how.

  • haha i herd the xbox, do you have live?

  • do u have live if u do send me a priv message

  • thank you so much with the trigger sear my bolt would not catch also i have the laylax piston sear also

  • thanks really helped and i subbed

  • i heard an xbox

  • Great video i found it funny wat you said about the 12 year olds lol

  • Ahh! Thanks for this man!

  • In the beginning, it looks like a Feather without the stock and foregrip.
