ive got this phone for a while now (4 years to be exact) it still works perfectly and i don need another phone. yes the cancel button can be annoiing. but ive learned working with it. Anyone can work with it. its not that hard. and the comment that you cannot turn off the sound it bullsh*t. my phone never makes any sound. exept when someone calls me or text. and that can also be turned off by using mute mode!!!

i think its a terrific phone and never let me down no matter how much it fell.

Sorry mate, this phone is SHIT and its very, VERY limited. You CANT mute the low battery warning, it will always vibrate no matter what mode its on. 2 years and i didnt mange to work properly with the touch keys, dont know if you are some kind of magician of cellphones but me and most people cant do it. Ive got a Nokia n82 now and... theres no comparison at all, its a cellphone that you can at least CUSTOMIZE like changing the sms tone(mp3)...a thing you even cant do with the e900.

@frmainada in some ways you are right. its sad that you cant change your sms tone into a custom one. but its not worldshocking that you cant do that. and your right it always vibrates when low battery. but is that a reason for not using it?? i think its not....

In these days the options of the phone are limited. but every phone made 4 years ago can be called "limited".In my surroudings a lot of people still use e900 just because its reliable! it always works =)

I agree wit people saying this isn't a good phone. Ive got it for 2 years and im going to buy a nokia. The E900 is bad because of the terrible touch keys that can accidentally call your contacts when you put it in your pocket. Also for games you need to put freaking codes, you cant change alarm or sms tone and you cant FUCKING MUTE MOST OF THE PHONES SOUNDS EVEN IN SILENT MODE! *rage off*

Really, for all these years i expect much more, and this turned out out to be a frustrating phone to use.

i have an e900 and it says incorrect pin code in dutch and i bought a code to get the simlock off then put the code:

*#9998*3323# then malloc fail. hope this works on the d900 as well

I used to have this phone, not that good.

The touch screen can get pretty annoying, the cancel button espically. The noise when you text to, but you can turn that off. If someones is interested in it, i wouldnt suggest it, it's worth about £20, better off with something else.

ouaih je l'ai le e900 de samsung, je l'ai acheter il n'y a pas longtemp. Je le trouve vraiment au top surtout au niveau de la technologie des touches tactile au niveau de l'écran. Le seul hick qu'on peut lui reprocher c'est au niveau du temps de réponse de la carte mémoire, sinon le reste rien à dire, tout y est, un vini au top, moi je vous conseil de l'acheter.

I have this phone in that pinky redy colour. Ive had it for 18 months now and its still wearing fine but Im bored of it now haha.

My battery only lasts for 2 days 3 at the most but I am forever texting on it and things like that.

I hate the cancel touch thing I still press it all the time now and it closes everything down its annoying is that.

Oh well Im looking at getting the sony ericson W350i cause it looks good and is a music phone (Y)

But this phone has been great it's quite strong I drop it all the time and it's been in a pool and survived and batteries still alright only problem I had was the pictures load a tad slowly, yeh it does support MP3 and you can use MP3's as ringtones

you can get it for less than £80 now because it is "old". (though not really just in technology terms). If you go on google product searh thing youll get a reasonabla price at £60 (with top up and and postage. dont know about dollars!).

If u want it cheaper you are going to have to seah around. You can record though not on a high resolution (like a lot of phones). to be honest the chocolate and the e900 are similar. you may as well get what you prefer the looks of.

I dropped mine in a poll in jamaica (E900) I dried it out wile i was tehre and it worked again. Just the battery dies now every other day even if i dont play music or whatever. If i play music its dead within an hour but it smy own stupid fault for dropping it in a pool, im getting the N95 on Tuesday but overall this was a good phone for me.
