  • holy crap, the beginning of the TMNT 1 NES theme at 18:20!!!!!

  • at 15:38 it looks like you stop in midair for a second... why?

  • why arent you using the glitch to go to the fortress stage in psx version automatically?

  • @grassinigrassini

...this isn't the PSX version. You can tell by the lower music quality that it's the SNES version.

  • @BareknuckleRoo i know,thanks.

  • @BareknuckleRoo More like BETTER music quality :P I know what you're saying, but those remixes were absolutely abysmal. It was like a light jazz rendition of the high-octane music we expect from Megaman games.

  • @ziminaiman

Not sure where you heard jazz in the remixed soundtrack, but the main issue with X3 in particular is the instrumentation, or lack thereof. X1 and X2 at least used a more varied set of instruments in the music, but X3 used the exact same guitar for almost every single stage's music. The lack of variation and poor choice of instrumentation compared to previous games in the series is why the SNES version of X3 is generally considered to have the worst music.

  • @BareknuckleRoo OH no I was referring more to the Playstation X3 rendition. It was a phenomenal opportunity to make the music more hype and they couldn't have blown it more. I agree with you on X3 though. A lot of the compositions were great but if they were better executed it would have had better impact. X2 was more simple but it got the job done. I can't put a single flaw to X1 though. Well-written, great instruments, and the echo effect of all the sound effects was perfect.

  • @ziminaiman and just saw you were talking about the remixed soundtrack, duh. It's not like they got Coltrane and Miles Davis together and recorded it, but it's far too swing and chill for a Megaman OST. That was my point.

  • @grassinigrassini Didn't know there was such a glitch. Can ya link to a video of it?

  • @soulcalibrII i couldnt find it again i remember seeing a thread in SDA of it and maybe in tasvideos forums too.i will look for it

  • How come you never boost jump on the walls?

Is it seriously faster than boosting? If so then that's dumb...

  • @RhanC777 What do you mean by boost jump? If you're talking about the extended jump with the sabre, he needs the leg upgrade to do that, and getting the leg parts wastes time.

  • @XBladenoJutsu

Noo no no not that, I'm talking about regular boost jumping on the walls.

  • @RhanC777 I'm not sure I understand what you mean. There are many ways to enhance the jump momentum. Can you be more specific?

  • @XBladenoJutsu

You know when you dash? He doesn't dash jump, only regular jumping.

  • @RhanC777 Oh, dash walljumping is a dumb thing to do. It's slower, but you can use it for the last jump if you need extra momentum to clip the corner of the wall a little. Other than that, it's slow and looks really bad to do it constantly.

  • @XBladenoJutsu

I don't understand why capcom would make it slower though lol

  • @RhanC777 Well, I mean, X moves so far back during the dash wall jump. It's obvious that it's slower because X moves so far back instead of straight up. Meaning you have to wait longer before you can kick from the wall again, but there's a slight height gain from it, that's why you can use it on the last jump on a wall.
