ah yes but wouldn't you just set up your iris for the face at 70% exposure. This way you can avoid any overexposed areas due to the s curve. Shadows should be pretty easy to keep because of the flat profile.
@mranderson02005 It had to be consistent setting across the whole test and the 'standard' profile is not a flat profile. Not only that but everyone's monitor, unless properly calibrated, sees exposure in different ways.
ah I see what you mean, just to show the differences between the profiles. Not necessarily having the perfectly exposed image for each profile. I find the lcd on the back the easiest way to find my exposure.

@mranderson02005 That is where you are wrong my friend. They were all shot at 60 at 5.6 at 160 ISO. You are probably not aware that profiles are nearly always canned with their own 'S' curve so where you see a difference in exposure means that profile has a steeper curve.
