I learned a trick from an acquaintance in the Air Force who used to fly the C-5B said to park the plane at the end of the strip. Throttle the engines at full while your break is engaged. Once engines are up you release the break and yeah you take off. Passengers wouldn't like it because it's going to jerk suddenly but it helps with short runways.

Oh lord!!! It's bad enough to take-off from here, and raining!! I'd get off the plane!! I did fot that matter!!! I like takeoffs in Toncontín but not the landing!!
