  • How did you even manage to upload this

  • "The future is short times away"

  • "It was so strong it could've been an EF6 if it existed."

That's the comment I heard several years ago on a documentary covering this. Now everyone thinks that EF6/F6 is a real thing.

  • Wisten guy, wuntil you wearn how to twalk, dwon't pwost any vwideos wif you twalking woah-k?

  • The fujita and enhanced fujita scales are based on damage. That's why you can't have an F or EF-6. Homes/structures totally destroyed and swept away are EF-5 damage. The wind speed just happens to be higher in.... wait for it....... more destructive tornadoes. But the wind speed does not make the rating- the damage the tornado does makes the rating.

  • damn, did this guy have a stroke while recording this?!

  • Funny, 320 mph wind speeds for an f6? looks like you have 320 dislikes for this video. Maybe this video is an F6 (:

  • the scale of EF-1 - EF-5 is not on size but on wind speed, and stregnth etc. what you have here is no proof of wind speed or anything just a picture, you say it its 320 but wheres your proof?? last year there was a tornado that ripped bark off the trees, that was only an EF-4 -EF5. so your pretty stupid.

  • a twel-na-do- and f-fix twel-na-do..LOL

  • @obidonis lol! spit it out elmer fudd, you huntin wabbit?!

  • exactly, it's only an F5, but still the strongest recorded.

  • well sir that tornado had 318 mph wind

  • Okwahoma big tworndo.

  • @graves420fire couldn't have said it any better... they are also disrespecting mr.fujita by doing this.... nowadays the so called "f5's" that happen aren't worthy of the title f5 when they barely reach 210 mph...a real f5 would make it pushing 270....more rare but that much more special

  • Ok, the New enhanced fujita scale says that any wind speed over 200 mph is and EF5. When this tornado happened the Enhanced Fujita scale had not been created yet. The old fujita scale had F-5 rated as wind speeds 261-318 mph. The 99' OKC tornado did reach wind speeds of well over the 318 mark. And also like previously mention Ted Fujita did comment on F-6 ratings as being inconceivable. Keep in mind too that the Greensburg tornado had recorded winds of over 330mph. The new EF scale sucks

  • and yes climate change IS to blame for all of the extreme weather we have been having

    and so are we

  • you people are stupid for believing an EF-6 tornado exists ahahahahaha lmfao at you guys

  • no they weren't the winspeeds reached 318mph

  • Fujita intended that only F0-F5 be used in practice, as this covered all possible levels of damage to frame homes as well as the expected estimated bounds of wind speeds. He did, however, add a description for F6, which he phrased as "inconceivable tornado", to allow for wind speeds exceeding F5 and for possible future advancements in damage analysis which might show it.[2]

  • may 3rd, 1999. I was there and I saw the destruction with my own eyes, the national guard came to more and shut the town down, no one could get in, no one could get out. My mother and I got in to find my brother, there is a side street to take in and once we got in they closed it off. The winds were not 318, 315. They were 327 mph. I know I lived through it!!

  • ugh just 5 minutes 12 seconds of your "accent" just got annoying

  • Guys, there was a to-a-o. It was over a decade ago, and a decade is ten yews. And ten decades is a centowy. Amazing.

  • all i know is in 1999 the winds where 315 mph a f5 is 200 and over so there you go i have been chasing these things since 4th grade the weather channel was my second favoriate channel and not even dr greg forbes said anything about a f6 try saying ef5 it will make you sound smarter

  • RAW redneck logics!!......... i bet he handles a gun better than he speaks..... go kill them otters Jesee!...

  • I thought it was funny how the retard speaks

  • Actually F6 do exist. There has never been one

  • there is no official F6/EF6 rating on the fujita scale. there are people that use the term EF6 for tornadoes that near the highest recorded winds so far, but it doesn't exist officially on records.

Kid, I suggest you do more official research on the subject and stop visiting 4chan for your scientific information

  • f6/ef6 tornadoes exist

  • Omg really.. I didn't know there was EF-6 on the Fujita scale.. Wow.. Impressive... NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... WTF are u smoking u fucked up idiot apparently something that I wouldn't even tough.. Were u dropped as a baby, or did u Mother slam u into a fuckin wall. Cus clearly u do not know the logic of the Fujita scale, u moron... And telling us we can go fuck ourselves.. How about u go fuck your mother.. You retarded reject.. BTW. Have a nice fucked up day. :)

  • Torado he calls it

  • "10 years is a decade, and 10 decades is a century." You don't say?

  • It's Corky from "Life goes on." Be nice people lol:)

  • LOL, HE CAN'T EVEN SPELL 'DIDN'T' PROPERLY, SO HE CAN FUCK HIMSELF!

318 MPH WINDS ARE THE HIGHEST WINDS EVER RECORDED ON EARTH,

HOWEVER THE ENHANCED FUJITA SCALE GOES UP TO EF5 - EF6'S DON'T EXIST!

  • Okwahoma! F6! IMPOSSIBRU!

  • Showing a photograph of a tornado and then explaining that F6 tornadoes exist does NOT constitute "a video". Second, the expanded Fujita scale is open-ended at level F5, which are sustained winds over 200 mph. The winds could be 318 mph (as in the Moore/OKC tornado) or even 500 mph and it would still be an EF-5.

  • Dude what the hell. The Fujita Scale does not exceed F5. Do your research before insulting people dipshit.

  • Comment removed

  • You are wrong there is not a EF6 tornado only EF5 look at the fucking scale i am only 11 but i know more about tornadoes than you dumbass i bet you are a geek at high school thinking he there is a EF6 tornado you say there is but what proof tell me what fucking proof you have non so you are telling you to fuck off when you say you have proof but YOU DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so what if a f6 DIDNT hit greensburg, kansas or parkersburg, Iowa???? (sarcastically and jokingly speaking) why dont you go outside and shout at the sky: "F-6! COME ON DOWN! YOUR THE NEXT CONTESTANT ON 'FUCK THOSE THAT DONT THINK F6 DIDNT EXSIT!" LOL

  • "global warming is causing totnadoes in the southeast part of the U.S.A."

(code geeas Leelouch and YJ Robin laugh hysterically)

DAVIDLEE, TORNADOES ALWAYS HAVE HIT THE SOUTHEAST PART OF THE U.S.A. NOT GLOBAL WARMING!!!! Did Global Warming cause the outbreaks of 1968, 1974 & 1984???

  • If im not mistaken....davidlee lives in a dangerous high risk tornado zone, Indinana...which that state is well known for it's viloent twisters (otherwise why else would cute 2001 sirens be all over alot of Indiana's cities?) and if his Indiana town was destroyed by a tornado would he spend time on what tornado scale the storm was or helping and praying for the tornado victims who have lost everything near and dear to their hearts? The annotations crack me up beacuse davidlee is wasting his time

  • the annotations are highly hilarious! flipping people off and telling other people to fuck themselves because of a little insignifigant disagreement over a tornado scale! WHO CARES IF THE MAY 3, 1999 TWISTER WAS AN F6 OR F5?!!!! WHAT MATTERS IS THE LIVES AND PROPOERTY THAT GOT DAMAGED FROM IT!

  • F6 do exist!!!!!!

  • U DUMMY!

  • YOU FUCKING MORON, ITS NOT AN F6!!!!!! NO!!!!

  • F6S DON'T EXIST, SHUT THE FUCK UP

NO MATTER HOW LARGE A TORNADO IS, F6S DON'T EXIST.

  • @Tundraboy05 actualy the Fujita scale gos up to f12 but the EF (enhanced fujita) scale goes up to ef5. F12 has wind speeds of sound. so before you say someting actually check that your info is correct

  • @namee64

Coming from a person who can't spell 'actually' properly:

The original Fujita scale did NOT go up to F12. The speed of sound is around 760 MPH.

What wind speeds on Earth go that high? NONE.

Maybe you should check your information because either you or the person who gave it to you is an idiot.

So before you tell someone to correct their information, maybe you should double-check yours.

  • @Tundraboy05 your just wrong.

  • @namee64 How am I wrong. Prove me wrong.

  • @Tundraboy05 you are wrong because there is an f6 on the fujita scale

  • @namee64

No, you are wrong. You need to read that book.

    F6's don't exist.

  • @Tundraboy05 i did read the book

  • @namee64 Then where are you getting your facts?

  • @Tundraboy05 i already told you

  • @namee64 then read the book again.

  • @Tundraboy05 1. Did you read it? 2. I read it three times

  • @namee64 Actually I read it when I was in High School.

  • @Tundraboy05 and read the book into the storm

  • @Tundraboy05 You are right that f5 is the highest tornado ever recorded. And also I got my information from Reed Timmer's book "into the storm". So 1. You are basically calling reed timmer an idiot 2. maybe one day you should actually read a book.

  • @namee64

How am I calling Reed Timmer an idiot when he doesn't think F6's exist? I actually studied tornadoes as a child. I know more about them than you probably ever will. Stop saying stupid things and then not having proof to back them up.

  • @Tundraboy05 But you are right that no tornado has ever been recorded over f5

  • f6 you stupid idiot

  • yo bitch there no sutch thing as a F6 YOU FUCKING PEACE SHIT F6 was taking off the list not a F6

  • no f6 tornado exist mammas boy!!!

  • I hope u die

  • you little muther fucker your a loser you cry like a baby whAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! idit foolish kid!

  • itends at f5 yoi douche bag

  • we obob or odf ob ob a friekling of he od sdl

YOU CAN'T TALK YOU STUPID BITCH!

  • PLus its the size of Our planet soo

  • On earth the biggest tornadoe is an Ef-5 but the largest known raging tornadoe in our solar system is on Jupitar the big red spot and its recorded to be made of about 200,000 Ef- 5 its a never ending funnel and the winds reach over 2000 MPH

  • F-6. No. Fucking. Way. Nope. Can't happen. Impossible. It was an F-5, and ask any meteorologist ever, and they'll tell you F-5. It cannot happen. Weak argument.

  • u got down syndrome

  • It's actually FALSE to say that F6 doesn't exist, BUT, because it have never been DOCUMENTED. There might have been F6, but not documented so that's why it never been used. If the F6 occur at sea, we don't know because we can't really measure the damage of that tornado. And tornados are more common in waters than on land.

  • If the windspeed classified it an F6, then it was an F6!!! They just didn't want to admit it, so they lied & said F5. Dislike this all you want, I know the truth of the fujita scale!!

  • i dont think that EF6's don't exist. im smart enough to know they don't.

  • i emailed the one storm chaser and there is no f6 and your telling us to fuck ourselfs when you should eff ya self

  • @andrewd555 All storm chasers do is chase storms. They didn't invent the scale or anything. The massive genius who made this video is the real brilliant mother brain who comes up with the scales since his sophisticated theories and mathematical calculations is too complex for our small and puny minds to comprehend. Hell I'm sure he's soo brilliant that he run the whole world and tell us what's best for us since we're too dumb to think for ourselves. I HAVE NEVER SEEN BRILLIANCE LIKE THIS VIDEO!!

  • @andrewd555 try living through this one and then decide

  • @85boogking The EF scale was put into use on February 1, 2007. This tornado was rated on the "original" Fujita scale, which was unchanged from its beginning in the 1970s to the 2007 launch to its decommission in 2007.

  • f5 tornado is a tornado with winds of over 297 mph i think.

global warming isnto causing tornadoes, the jetstream is.

and EF tornadoes are measured of damage, F tornadoes measured on wind speed

Also, nobody can predict what strength a tornado will be.

  • Its f-5

  • yeah i hate the new EF scale, the original scale had an f5 at 261mph, now its 200, an old f-3 limit is 207 mph, i think its degrading to the old real f5s, i think they changed it to see more f-5s, now i think the joplin tornado was pretty close to an old f-5, i been there and saw the damage, no disrespect to the joplin tornado

  • @omtomt8787 it looked to be around 250-270mph, joplin got leveled

  • what the hell is this?

  • they removed the f6 and made the ef5. the ef5 is any tornado with wind speeds 200+. so get that sraight.

  • Born if the wind speeds are higher than the highest recorded speeds of an f5 it technically is an f6 but I don't think many tornadoes produce wind speeds of 295+

  • omg lol hahaha no that is not funny

  • well, whats ten centuries?

  • "F#### THOSE THAT DONT THINK F-6 TORNADOES DIDNN'T EXSIT!"

Since the Fujita scale is based on the severity of damage resulting from high winds, Property damage cannot exceed total destruction, which constitutes an F5.

  • @bornagainjessie it goes up to f12 but its not expected to be reached to anything after f6

  • @Cowz221 Oh really? The NOAA would like to have a word with you. There are 6 levels to the original and Enhanced Fujita scales. (E)F-0, (E)F-1, (E)F-2, (E)F-3, (E)F-4, (E)F-5. That's it. No more, no less.

  • @bornagainjessie f^ DOES NOT EXIST IT WAS TAKIN OFF THE LIST AND NEVER PUT BACK ON!!!!!!!

  • @bornagainjessie True. The Fujita scale goes up to F12, but of course we have no way of truly measuring beyond F5. So altough it is in real terms an F6, we can't measure it. If an F12 came along we could, - mountains would be torn apart! Sounds like a disaster movie idea.....

  • actually there is such a thing as a F6 tornado but it's so powerful that on the scale it is listed as inconceivable or impossible.

  • Comment removed

  • F5 is the highest on the Fujita Scale, how do I know this, well I chase tornadoes

  • @PsychoutAL no actually the old fujita scale had an f6. but they removed the f6 and made the ef5 200mph+.

  • @PsychoutAL no actually the old fujita scale had an f6. but they removed the f6 and made the ef5 200mph+. oh yeah and i forgot to mention this, then you must not be a good chaser if you dont know the history. im wanting to be a chaser im 14 now but i am going to college to be a meteorologist, but before i do that i am searching and learning. you might want to do the same. i bet you dont know the date of the first picture of a tornado or the tristate tornado (hearing about it doesnt count)

  • @KevinDHorvath Neither the Fujita scale nor Enhanced Fujita scale employed by the NWS had an F-6 (or EF-6) rating. Although Dr. Fujita's concept of the original F-scale went up to F-12 (Mach 1), it was decided F-5 constituted total destruction and could not be exceeded. That's why the F-scale only rises to F-5. There was not an F-6 on the NWS Fujita scale. Good luck in your becoming a meteorologist!

  • haha! now that's what i call an F6! those who didn't believe there is and F6 is a complete MORON!

  • fucking retard u dont have a news channel/ hahhahaahahahaha you dummmy i watched your vid couldnt stop laughing bt i came up with who u remind me off johnny knoxvilles mate in the ringer SCRAAAAAATCH!!! hahahahahhaha

  • I LOVE THIS ACCENT!!! I'm begging you davidlee... please make a video of you saying "wabbit twacks" or "kill the wabbit"

    ahhh aahhhhhh i love this!!!!

  • Nice video dude. And trolls... stfu... at least he took the time to upload.. so fuck off.

  • global warming IS NOT THE REASON Tornadoes are happening in The Southeastern U.S.A. Because states like Alabama and Mississippi have ALWAYS seen frequent numbers of viloent tornadoes.

  • @bornagainjessie Although deadly tornadoes are more common in Dixie Alley (areas in the Southeast extending to the center of the USA), there has truly never been a year with this many deaths. I'm not saying that climate change is the reason, but do keep in mind that we've now broken the record for most deaths caused by a tornado in one year.

  • What is a F6 wind speed, if you believe in F6.

  • @jstered an official EF-6 wind speed is 325+ mph

  • IF this is EF-6 then Joklin's city tornado on May 22 was EF-7

  • @annaczxxify Youre an idiot dude, watch Reed Timmers video from this tornado. This tornado made Joplins "EF-5" look like a ride in the park.

  • @IAmHurricaneStorm im not a DUUUDE first of all and second of all try to respect other peoples comment if you are ready to comment shit with a single comment on your video, dont put up videos ass,,,

  • @annaczxxify there have been stronger tornadoes than that joplin ride on the swing

  • gay

  • Comment removed

  • Boring and dum. And you talk funny. And you can delete this comment. it doesn't matter because it was ment for you to see and inorder for you to delete this comment you are going to need to read this comment. And again you talk like a 2 year old. And this boring. And retarded

  • no such thing as ef-6

  • This video is awsome!...thanks for posting.

  • Hi superidiot and 85boogqueen. There is no use in explaining to you both, as for your still on the short bus and apparently riding slow. I don't argu with babies. Walmart has a binki and diapers if ya need. No need to talk nasty to me. If ya want to, then please continue cause I love laughing. I've been trainned to hard in life to give my power away to boys who carry there nuts in a purse. If you need a hug....ask someone else. If ya need a kleen-ex....ask and I shall give. Do some dishes. LOL!

  • You are a 100% correct. EF5 tornadoees reach speeds up to 300 mph.. The one your talking about did infact reach speeds of 318 mph. Which if it was on the scale would be an EF6..

  • Hey 85boogking, you sound more like the queen. I DID do my homework. Just went through another tornado. I did my homework by having a great job, a wife, kids, Spc Ops convoy protection, kids, and still young and braggable. What homework are you talking about. You told me to watch what I say. I never said anything bad. I will say what I want, when I want. Go do your dishes and laundry. Need that broke down for ya. You bring out the ignorant bastard in me and I love it. Write back so I can laugh.

  • fucking retarded non english speaking bastered

  • Yeah if Okie from OK had an f-6 then we had an f-7 in Missouri. Goo goo gaa gaa, goo goo gaa. LOL! We have for sure and factually....more damage, more tornadoes, had the most powerful, more deaths from individual tornadoes. We all have them. Who cares. LOL!!!!!!!!! Allrighty, yipeeeeeeeeeee, yeeeeeeeeeeeeee hawwwwwwwwwwww!!!!

  • Missouri, the worst and the most. La da da da da ada la la ta ta ta dadadadada waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Mo. is top on charts since late 1800 and early 1900 tornadoes. Just didi it again in Jopolin this week.

  • Nope....no such thing as f-6. It's a new age term thats bogus cause someone tried to do some math. f-5 just put Okie to shame again. It killed 144 total....almost all in Joplin, Mo. Early 1900's...over 600 people. Go buy some klean ex. Media just now mentioned how we made history with the magnitude, the numbers....and this week....the size of the coverage over the most counties at once ever. To those who cant stand the facts from OK, go ahead and get mad, cause I love it. I'll throw in klean-ex

  • Comment removed

  • F6. Big deal. Our tornadoes go up to 11.

  • @beestingz1 ?? where do you live?

  • @beestingz1 lol think about it... an ef-8 tornado would suck craters in the ground and demolish anything and everything leaving nothing..

  • Dude do you have a speech impediment?

  • @chillichomper No, he doesn't have a speech impediment. It's the ten pounds of shit between your ears

  • @TheBladepolisher I don't think so and I guess you're related to elmer fudd narrating this vid.

  • @chillichomper Slow down on those bunless chilli dogs dude. What are you doin with the mouth full of hair? HAAAAAA! Are you so perfect as to make fun of others? Seriously, take a look in the mirror you fat murph.

  • @TheBladepolisher lmao. At least I don't sound like I've got a bunch of chillidogs stuck in my mouth like this guy. Besides , is he your girlfriend or something like that? WTF? Let him fight his own fights. Talk about a man crush. Sheesh

  • @chillichomper What the fuck are you talking about "Let him fight his own fights"? Who died and made you boss? Pickin' on people like this makes you a pussy. As far as the man crush bs pal, Look, all I'm trying to say is don't you have better things to do like pullin the pubics outta your teeth from those bunless chilli dogs? Don't you think he has a tough enough time getting his ideas across without a idiot like you proving to him that you don't need a speech impediment to be a complete ass?

  • @TheBladepolisher His speech isn't what made me pick on him. Its the double birds on the vid that was a complete invitation you dork! But I guess that's how people greet each other in oklahoma right? I have an idea. Why don't you quit polishing your blade and just fall on it.

  • @davidlee110 LMAO!! HAAAAAAAAA!! What is that? LICK ME ALL OVER? HAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAAA!!

  • @TheBladepolisher no.

you said '''it's the 10 pounds of shit between your ears'''

LOL, That why i'm laughing so hard. LMAO!

  • @davidlee110 It figures out perfectly that you'd be right at home in a marathon idiot session like this. The only difference is in this case, your my bitch and I say immediately go to your local zoo primate compound ( living room) dress down to your bikini briefs, wipe honey and female primate hormone secretion compound on your ass and paint your dick to look like a banana and prepare for a ROUSING session of "Who eats the fastest banana" and " That won't fit in there, Will It?" Go bitch!!

  • @TheBladepolisher Actually the 10 lbs of shit between his ears is what makes him fucking dumber than dirt. The 20lbs of shit in his mouth is what gives him the speech impediment. And the 30lbs of shit on his shit-stained underwear makes him an all around stupid piece of shit with an IQ score just above that of a drooling idiot who sits in a sandbox all day and eats shit until he chokes on it and dies. I hope that clarifies your question, please don't hesitate to ask more. Thanks!

  • @reymatt76 oh believe me, no MORE questions, just lots more of the same FUN,FUN,FUN; letting the world know who the best bung lappers are. Let me guess... uh, your a david lee clone. Fuck, there goes the world. rematt? I thought it was door matt... oh well, your shit 'll work. Anyway, just when I'd thought I'b been talking to the biggest fag that ever walked, here comes doormatt. Chillichomper and doormatt, how gay. How much fudge ya packin' nowadays? Bye for now bubba lover, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

  • @TheBladepolisher Who the fuck is David Lee? I was actually agreeing with you because I thought you were refeerring to the poster of this clip, the one with the speech impediment - davidlee110 - who is the one I was saying has shit for brains. Secondly, what's wrong with being gay? Why do you have issues with my alleged sexuality? If you're trying to insult me, telling me that I take dick up the ass isn't the way to do it. But I don't know why you'd waste your time since I wasn't dissing you.

  • @reymatt76 Sir, do yourself a favor.

    Go fuck yourself!

  • @davidlee110 If I could fuck myself, I'd be getting fucked, not watching YouTube. Trust me.

  • @reymatt76 thats right.

  • @TheBladepolisher Oh and just so you know, yeah I am gay. In fact, I did just get fucked up the ass last night. And I sucked another guy's dick about an hour after that. It's called "getting laid" I suggest you try doing it.

  • @reymatt76 Ouch, that has to hurt. Probably didn't taste too good either. Either way, I apologize for my comment. Discussions can get pretty salty here. Thats why they call it "YOU TUBE" not "YOU LUBE". My intent was based upon my misunderstanding of your comment. I was used to recieving his message and diggin' in. Again, Sorry.

  • @TheBladepolisher That's fine, but why not insult someone based upon factors other than sexual orientation? I am gay, and I don't think that getting fucked in the ass is necessarily something that makes me a bad person. I'm not sure if you are involved with a woman, but if so, and you fucked her up the ass, and then someone called her a fudge packer, how would you feel? It's just an incredibly insensitive way of arguing with someone. Off to my man's house now, gonna suck a couple loads out.

  • @reymatt76 The apology still stands. I do it because there's a certain amount of visual humor behind it. To be honest with you, even if I did whatever you said with my woman, I surely don't feel the need to shove it in front of other peoples faces. How sensitive are you being with your shit about "a couple of loads?". If thats how you brown your toast pal go ahead but don't tell me about insensitivity and then relay the message to every other human being what your off to do with your friend.

  • @TheBladepolisher hehe, how cute, and sorta proves my point. You tell me to pack fudge and call me the biggest fag to ever walk and all this graphic shit first but then when I pretty much agree with what you said and show that while it's insensitive to say, it's actually all true, you suddenly get prim and proper with me. So it's OK for you to call people fags and tell them to pack fudge, but when I say I'm gonna suck a few loads out, that's suddenly over the line eh? Virgins are funny :)

  • @reymatt76 Fags like to talk as though their at a cocktail party(NPI) desribing their latest exploits as though they were at a real estate agents convention. Or how a couple of bad boys "snuck" in a sesh at the post office. How naughty we fags are... All of a sudden w/i the last 35 years there's a big uprising for rights. Fine. Thats your thing. Too me, your still walking around in public trying to see if your head fits in your ass. Too bad the world's been fag free since B4 Christ. Junk mail?

  • @TheBladepolisher hehe, OK, I have no idea what you're talking about, but this post office thing intrigues me. What were they doing there?

  • LMAO HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAAAAA

  • global warming is not real but you think its causing tornadoes. Why dont you learn something real and not what your told. then make your video

  • @gels71 I'd say not only a nice try but a pretty accurate one at that... You DO know that property damage is used as a rubric against which to measure a tornado's strength ONLY because it was too difficult to obtain adequate wind speed measurements due to its unpredictability and sheer power. If meteorologists had anemometers capable of withstanding 300+ mph winds and/or the wherewithal to know exactly when and where to place them near a tornado without getting themselves killed or

  • @gels71 having the tornado suddenly shift direction to travel away from the instruments, then they would have the means and the info to create categories up to EF-10 if tornadic winds were to reach such a velocity.

  • i was in a f6 tornado in oklahoma

  • @554687858 lol

  • Actually tornados could get to an EF6 if they wanted to. just cause some dumbass told u they can, doesn't mean they can't!!!

  • Your pronunciation skills are atrocious!

  • "One decade is ten years, ten decades is a century."

    Omg, no way!

And yes it was an F-5 because F-5 is as high as they go. Well EF-5 now since the original Fujita Scale is no longer used.

Just like Hurricane Camille, max winds of 200mph. That is a cat. 5 hurricane, even though if at cat. 6 existed, it would be in that category. This tornado would have been an F-6 if F-6 existed, but that is not an official category so in history books, it will be an F-5.

  • @ericsummey95 F-6/EF-6 isn't an official category because no one has thought to make it one as of yet, simple as that. If the original Fujita scale could be recalculated to account for structural damage not taken into account originally by method of recalibrating (i.e. lowering) the wind speed necessary to cause it, then it could just as easily be revamped to allow for an additional category via further downgraded wind speeds and/or damage assessments.

  • @thelunknownl I agree with you completely. But I'm just going what was used at this time which was the original Fujita scale. Even if an F6 or an EF6 existed, the damage would practically look the same as it would not be distinguishable.

  • huh

  • Very informative, but I must say... F6's are really just strong F5's, and techincally, an F6 doesn't exist. But for the purposes of displaying it's strength, it's an effective name.

  • Technically F-6 tornadoes are F-5 tornadoes...

The people who made the scale never thought a tornado could have wind speeds higher than 310 mph or whatever the highest speed was...... I think they went by damage.

But the scale doesn't go to F-6.

  • so this is what happens when you piss chuck norris off
