  • Go BRAVOS!!

  • 2012!!! COME ON BRAVOS!!!!

  • the indy colts are the braves of 2000s hahahahahahahaha

  • The Atlanta Braves defeated the Cleveland Indians for thee WORLD BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP in 1995. Just curious, how many total games did this "best-of-seven" playoff series go?

  • @willybilly008 Six.

  • @willybilly008 6..with Tom Glavine 1 hit masterful game.

  • @willybilly008 As long as it took to get your girl off!!!1111

  • Born a Braves & I will die a Braves fan. "GO BRAVES GO BRAVES"

  • @THEATREofPAIN270 yeah man!!!

  • go braves go

  • *tears rolling down, God bless the Braves.

  • As much as I love the braves the chicago bulls were the team of the 90s

  • We are closing in on you Philly! Since June 1st we've had a better record and it's climbing baby! Go ATL!

  • Playoffs ruin baseball and other sports as well. Baseball doesn.t need a playoff and the other sports have too damn many of them.Hate baseball in November, basketball and hockey in June and football in February.1995 was the first year for this crap, but at least the 95 Braves in the National League and the 95 Indians were the best in the American League. The Indians pitching was gone in 97 and the Marlins finished 9 games behind the Braves. No excuse for this kind of baseball.I don't even watch it.

  • The Atlanta Braves won the 1995 world championship, they won 5 National League championships, they won 14 straight division championships from 1991 to 2005,that's 20 championships in 14 years, that's a world record in sports. The Braves are my team! They had an exciting playoff run in 2010,I hope this year's team is even better than they were last year and I hope they will win it all again this time,I know after playing well in the playoffs they will be hungry to return and win it all this year

  • @TolitoGangster Soooo uh HOW BOUT THEM CARDINALS?!

  • Comment removed

  • @TolitoGangster Damn Straight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • @madskrillz2 The Cardinals and Rangers were the best two teams in baseball last year, the Cardinals won an exciting memorable World Series, hats off to them,Albert Pujols is a great player, the Cardinals defeated the Phillies,Brewers and Rangers and they came out world champions of 2011,they are a great team, the Atlanta Braves have a great team for 2012 and will be ready for Saint Louis next year, the Cardinals are the World Series Champions so teams will be playing them hard trying to beat them.

  • @TolitoGangster St. Louis you better say thank you note to the Braves for choking

  • @TolitoGangster 2012 is the 20th anniversary of "Sid Breams Slide".

  • @TolitoGangster Man........this year must've been as bad as ever for you. Sorry for that

  • Braves have been to so many world series and have only this championship to show for it while in Atlanta. Their piss poor bullpen gave the 1996 championship to the Yankees. That one still stings.

  • braves beat the best team in the 90's the 95 Indians and coudn't beat the darn Yankees in 96 up 2-0 :/

  • what if the Indians would have won the World Series in 95, and 97.

  • @ChunkyDeadGurl I ask the same thing every season, hopefully this year we can get it, ROLLTRIBE!

  • Memories!!!!

  • best year ever,,,,,,,

  • who was pitching in that game glavine?

  • Look as a Yankee fan i dont see the arguement here. The saga of 96-00 is pleasent to me becausse its a reminder of how the yanks had shining young stars and bought some washed up veterans and were able to make wonders out of it. Other fans bag on the Yanks for "Buying" championships and "Steriod abuse". When really its that they play to win the game. And hey we' ll keep playing plain and simple. Atlanta was good during the 90's but they werent good enough for the yanks in 96' and 99'.

  • the did what the could,i'm a braves fan 4 life go braves

  • JAVY LOPEZ!

  • No offense but why is it called 'world series,' when only American clubs and one Canadian club plays?

  • @davd1986 its just saying... anyway, not to argue, but im pretty sure MLB is have the best teams in the world

  • FUCK PHILLY WE WON AND NOW SAN FRANCISCO BETTER WATCH OUT WERE WORLD SERIES BOUND BOBBY COX IS GONNA RETIRE WITH A RING THIS YEAR FO REAL

  • @TheLatinJuggalo dont hold your breath

  • @TheLatinJuggalo I agree with you.Just beat the Giants that's all.Win

  • Good ol memories of the 90's for the Atlanta Braves winning it in 1995 the WS. But for the Braves to make it far to the WS they would have to get through the Phillies and the Phillies are just to hot in the post season. Its been a 5 yr playoff drought for the Braves. I am sure as a braves fan it feels good making it in the post season after a 5 yr playoff drought. But the Phillies have more playoff experience and knows what it takes to make it in the WS.

  • well the postseason is coming up even though the east may go to the phillies i say shit they can have the east wE'LL have THE COMMISSIONERS TROPHY and the NL PENNANT

  • Phillies baby wooooooooooooooo

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian good for you, but wait to see them play the Turner Field

  • @Halo55691 you might as well play for the wildcard becuase the division is ours

  • The best year of all

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian I don't appreciate you in Braves country.

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian

win 14 in a row then give us a call, untill then shove a cheese steak in your fat mouth

  • @atlguy78 your not worth a call 14 times an won the ws 1 time ahha thats rediculas give u a call lol an when was that 20 years ago your mad the braves suck , go shove a peach pie up your ass

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian Me being a Mets fan I miss the good ol Mets vs Braves rivalry games. I respect that you Phillies are good now at the moment and won 4 NL East titles and a WS in 2008. But it took you guys 14 yrs to get better. Mets and Braves will always have good ol rival memories from 1999 and 2000. Where were the Phillies during that time?? They were no where. Mets all we need to do is get our management together and make a good team to bring back the good ol rivalry back.

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian Who just shut you out to go to playoffs kid?

  • @KIMxJUNGxIL nobody shut us out if any thing we shut u out lol do you even know what your talking about?

  • so the past

  • @redsoxsuckhaha so was steinbrenner now that hes DEAD THE BANK died with him and his so called baseball team full of moneylovin douchebags cause NY aint going no where this season its either Tampa Bay, Texas, Detroit, or Toronto that will walk over you Championship Buyers not winners.

  • @TheLatinJuggalo Umm no his kids took over the job before he even died they will never run out of money the family still owns the team Hank and Hal steinbrenner is now the owner but George was the Boss and Hank and Hal still r gunna get good players so ha ha btw toronto has no $ and the Yankees have the best record in baseball tied with tampa right now but gunna be alone for the rest of the season and get # 28 for the steinbrenner family so just keep dreaming

  • YANKEES ARE THE CHAMPIONS NOW THEY BEAT THE BRAVES IN 1996 AND 99

  • @redsoxsuckhaha 96 and 99 was B.S. but 2010 will be the our season when we walk away with the Commissioner's trophy in Atlanta.

  • @TheLatinJuggalo no 1995 was bs and ur just saying 96 and 99 was bs just because ur braves lost to the Yankees and if it is Braves Yankees in 2010 world series it will be Yankees in 4 braves wont stand a chance to the Yankees 96 Braves went up 2 games to none Yankees won the next 4 99 series Yankees sweept the Braves and the Yankees can do it again so keep thiinking about 95 cause that was the last time u won after losing to the blue jays in 92 and losing to the twins in 91

  • GREATEST TEAM OF ALL TIME!!!! THE LONGEST REIGNING FRANCHISE IN MLB HISTORY FINALLY GETTING NOTICED!!!! 1995 WORLD CHAMPIONS....FUTURE 2010 WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!!

  • Greatest year in Georgia sports history. i hope we can do it again. greatest year in baseball history

  • @TheDirtySouth404 Not sure about Greatest YEAR in baseball History. For greatest YEAR it would have to be 1993 and maybe 1992 (I'm a jays fan up here), but Perhapes the Greatest TEAM of all time, the 1995 Braves!!

  • loved this video! let's hope you'll need to update it this october :)

  • I've been a Braves fan since i was 5 and i believe we'll do it again cause we have the most potential in the MLB and for most braves fans who take the 96 and 99 series who still hold a grudge let em celebrate cause those YANKEE SUM BITCHES are gonna pay their dues to us sooner or later cause its gonna be sweet to BEAT EM SOONER.

  • @TheLatinJuggalo You got that right...I would love for us to dethrone the Yankees in 2010, just like they did us in 1996 Series....

  • I beleive Atlanta is known for having not a really big fan base. David Justice was right about his comments anout the Brave fans in 1995, he told the truth, and I think it's good for players to do that and for TRUE fans of the team to tell the truth like that. Alot of insecure people out there. Atleast the Yankee fans don't turn their backs on their team when they loose, they are loyal to their team through and through and same with Cubs fans too.

  • When you hear "Lets go Yankees" chant in ATLANTA, something is wrong with the fans there, unless those fans are from New York or always have been Yankee fans from birth. That goes for any city fans who cheer for the Yankees or some other team they feel will win. Like any Phillie fan last year that cheered for the Yankees, isn't a real Phillies fan, but either a life long Yankees fan or a someone who just cheers for any team they feel will win because they cannot handle or accept defeat.

  • I think alot of the fault of the Atlanta Braves lack of success in the post season is their lack of fan support or loyal fans that is. The Braves fans are known for turning on the Braves alot when they play the Yankees and some other teams. Any "fan" that would turn their back on their team and cheer for Yankees is not really a true fan. Unless there are many New Yorkers in the Atlanta area, it's obvious many Atlanta people have low confidence in their team and probably low self confidence also.

  • It's all my uncle's fault.

He made us kids do the tomahawk chop.

    Talk about child abuse...

    Go tribe!

  • in my opinion the braves will always be the best ... regardless

  • Maybe best team of the first half of the 90's, but not best of 90's. And i can't really say that cause the Blue Jays won 2 in them 6 years.

  • 2000 Yankees- Bought

    2001 D'backs- bought

    2002 Angels- earned

    2003 Marlins- earned

    2004 Red Sox- juiced

    2005 White Sox- earned

    2006 Cards- earned

    2007 Red Sox- bought

    2008 phillies- earned

    2009 yanks- bought x100

  • @chisox100

nice post from a braves fan.

  • I was 6 when we won this, always faithful, Always. Go Braves baby!!!!!!

  • Love that clip with Skip Caray and Joe Simpson going apeshit after the Braves FINALLY broke through...ironically in the series where they were actually slight underdogs. As a kid who grew up watching Rick Mahler, Andres Thomas, Bob Horner, and of course, Dale Murphy on WTBS...it was great to see them win the whole thing

  • the Yankees' shouldnt have even been in the World Series in 96 and we all know it..That Fuckin' stupid as Umpire in Right Field robbed the Orioles of there ticket when that fat fuckin kid stole the ball from the right fielder..Tony Torasco..!!

  • yea the braves were the team ot the 90s the yankees were only good from 96 on. yea they got three rings but the braves were good the WHOLE decade.

  • @nicki750877 Whole decade? I like being a smart ass but they were so good in 1990 weren't they?

  • Very ironic that at the final out Bob Costas already crowned the Braves "team of the decade" and then a year later the Yankees started there dynasty. I loved the Braves at this time. I was only 10 years old and rooted for them all the way in 95!

  • doesnt matter... we had more over all wins in the decade and three hall of hame pitchers...and in 2010 we will be holding the championship again... bobby cox is going into the sunset a champion...fuck the yankees

  • @saveusfrom1983 The braves dont have to BUY championships like New York.

  • @patriot0048 Welcome to the modern era there sport. Very rarely does a team not "buy" a title anymore. Btw, idk why you said championships. You meant A CHAMPIONSHIP. Tootles scooter :)

  • @patriot0048 AMEN to that and they don't have to shoot up the roids either.

  • @patriot0048 Sorry the yankees are just the a champion team 27 right there going to be 28 !!

  • @planb760 Awesome, they should win it every year considering they're payroll.

  • @patriot0048 yep cause all the Braves players play for free. Good one.

  • @saveusfrom1983

Yeah but the yankees are from the inferior American League so who cares?

  • @saveusfrom1983 So what if the Yankees won in 96, 98, and 99! The Yankees were terrible for the first half of the decade. Even if the Braves only won it in '95, no one in MLB could say that they were in the World Series for half of the decade, and that they got to the playoffs by winning their division every year of the 90s except for '90.

  • @GAdawgsfan93 wah, you cry more then my 3 year old.

  • @saveusfrom1983 ill give you this much.....at least youre not a red sox fan, just for that I respect you so much more

  • @ryche513 oh God I can not stand the Red Sox or there fans. Geez, I live in New England and let me tell you, these people think that the Red Sox are God's gift from above. They think Fenway Park is so great and wonderful when all it is, is a run down piece of shit that they keep covering up with new additions. How does that old saying go? "You can polish a terd and you can clean a terd but it will always be a terd" That is Fenway for you.

  • @saveusfrom1983 haha, the red sox just seem really dirty to me and their fans are just trashy. I dont like the yankees but they have class and theyre a top of the line baseball team. Ill cheer for the yankees over the red sox anyday

  • @ryche513 Red Sox fans are plain rigt stupid. Half of the people who go to Fenway are what we call in Boston "pink hat fans" which basically means they only root and cheer for the Sox because they win and it's the "cool" thing to do. Half the morons in the crowd couldn't even tell you who Ted Williams is and what position he played. They think the "Ted Williams Tunnel" here is just some random guy who had a tunnel named after him.

  • @saveusfrom1983 OH THE BRAVES ARE THE TEAM OF THE 90'S BECAUSE OF THE INPROBABILITY OF WERE THEY CAME FROM.YOU DAMN YANKEE FANS ALWAYS HAVE TO GET ALL THE GLORY!DON'T YOU?

  • @saveusfrom1983 Rings Shmings. Only reason Yankees won so many is they always snatch up the best players. I'd like to see them pull what the Braves did and win with some middle-of-the-road players.

  • @BuckWilliams17

And thats why you lost to us twice....with middle of the road players.

  • @Killer0fTheSun If the Yankees are So-o-o-o-o-o-o good as you claim, why don't they win EVERY year?

  • @BuckWilliams17

Never said they did Buck...but they showed they were better than the Braves in 96 and 99

  • @Killer0fTheSun Hey, the team that wins the World series isn't always the best team They may have been the hottest team but not the best. I think THIS 1995 Atlanta Braves team was possibly THE greatest team ever!!!! They should have won the 1996 and the 1999 World Series, definately in 1996 they should have beat the Yankees in a sweep. The 1996 Yanks were probably the worst world champions in history! Lou Gerhig said it best, "the Yankees were the LUCKIEST team on the face of the earth"

  • @xhemexx

The Braves barely won against Indians and got flkat out swept in 99 against Yanks and lost again to Yanks in 96....luckiest no you stupid fuck....they are the most dominant.

  • @saveusfrom1983 Didn't you also forget to say how many steriod users the Yankees were stacked with throughout the 90s? Look back in history, you will see that the Yankees are known to have the most baseball players accused of using steriods. Yet just like every other typical Yankees fan, you always have to ruin it for fans of other teams.

  • Why is this video blocked in some countries? Oh well, yay me for 10,000 video views. Thanks guys! Go Braves!

  • Because of it reaching 10K views. I think it's time for me to get my lazy ass working on another Braves video (which I try to make videos, but too lazy to finish it. I got 4 projects that not even finished. Maybe 6. LOL.)

  • Ok guys, I got 10,000 views and I decided I will upload the Sid Bream's slide. The Hank Aaron 715 home run also reached 5,000 views which means Otis Nixon's catch. :P

  • @Ballplayer300th

I've been looking all over with no luck for video or audio of Kent Mercker's No hitter against the Dodgers. I think it was 1994. Would you have that by any chance?

  • @AthensDawgs Perhaps not. I will search for it through mlb(dot)com and if I can I will record the audio and put the video link in the description.

  • @AthensDawgs It was 1994. It was during the 13 game winning streak early in that season.

  • @AthensDawgs

i do have the last inning on vhs,,

  • Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz...man they had some pitching staff

  • Why are pople talking crap about the braves, when this is a tribute video to the braves? I LOVE THE BRAVES! Chipper is still beast!

  • 1995, what a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So glad the Braves won. I was jumping up and down and so happy!!!

  • I was jumping up and down in 1991 when Dan Gladden crossed home plate in the 10th inning of game 7. JACK MORRIS BABY!!!!!!!!

"Batting third, the centerfielder, number 34.....KIRBEEEEEEEEEEEE PUCKETT!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Ok, good for you. Your team won in 1991 my team won in 1995. Kirby Puckett was my favorite player in the AL

  • I'm glad 1995 cured your hurt feelings from 1991...

  • yeah and Kent Hrbek is a fucking faggot.

  • @dcaff330 yeah and hit had to help the ump was helping the Twins out. I've never seen a first baseman pick someone and set them off of the bag and the ump not do anything about it.

  • *sigh* Cleveland always loses in the championship game. I just want a title. Just one. It's been a good 45 years.

  • marlins braves man cleveland sucks

  • hi people, how many times have the braves won the world series???

  • In franchise history, they won 3. In Atlanta, only 1.

  • Yes, I would like to see any team, including the Yanks, RedSux to repeat what the BRAVOS (I know how to fuc*#* spell the Braves also) have done. Yep, one World Series, but The BRAVES are THE snobs of the National League. Ted Turner rules..............go ahead...attack me. You watch T.V. in a different way because of TED TURNER>>>>>FORMER OWNER OF THE BRAVOS!!!!!!!!

  • And the best part about them winning is they won it here. I was watching a tape about the world series, it had interviews and the plays during it and when they won the did a drive through ATL and 600,000 fans were there!!

  • brves forever asta la MUERTE

  • Looong time Atlanta Braves fan here. Having been raised in Decatur and Saint simon's island Georgia.

The Braves were the best team in baseball for fourteen years.. Yet they couldn't beat lesser teams like the Twins, Blue jays and 96 Yankees. One world series title is better than nothing. But they should have at least five more.

  • Yea, i know.

  • Hey hold, The Jays of 1992 were NOT lesser then the Braves of 1992. We were genuinly better then you guys, your team gave us a heck of a match and series, and for that I personally gained alot of respect for the Braves. I agree, you guys should have beaten the 1996 Yankees, the 93 Phillies, the 97 Marlines, the 98 Padres, perhapes the 99 Yankees, and the 03 Cubs, 2000 Cards and 02 Giants. But the rest of the teams that beat the Braves including the 1992 Jays were truly better I think.

  • I became a Braves a fan a month earlier. SO pretty good timing.

  • so your a bandwagon?

  • I teared up a little, I remember the celebration parade in Atlanta. I wish for only a couple things for Atlanta another World series Championship, a Stanley cup, a Superbowl title, and a NBA Championship. I love the ATL

  • only a couple? lol you just listed every main championship

  • Hey guys. Make sure you read the description to get the link of the video of the Braves winning it all in 1995.

  • nice video! Could of went without the Queen. lol. We need to do get back to the World Series atleast in the next 3 years counting this year.

  • best video ever go Atlanta Braves

  • nice vid
