  • Probably one of the best scenes is movie history, just my opinion....

  • never seen a bad bill murray movie.

  • @quezcatol What about garfield?

  • @neilo86 thats not really "acting" voice-over, I dont judge celebs who do them, its just for the money.

  • >>> soundtrack for this movie.

more than this, he can sing

  • love it

  • a bunch of millionaires having fun in tokyo. actors, i mean.

  • he loved her, and understood nothing could be more than this.

  • for me its because these 2 people struggle to relate to anyone else. they are on a different wavelength and cant relate to other people (their own partners who are caught up in their own worlds). But these 2 are on the same wavelength. it is not a romance movie. Its about 2 people that are basically soulmates, but struggle to find happiness in life. This part of the movie is sad because when he sings the chorus and looks into her eyes they both realise that there isnt more to life than this

  • @rover828 well said.

  • @MWJEFF1 totally agree.

  • I saw this part of this movie one night after finding out the name of the song which I had been looking for years, so yeah weird.Awesome song though.

  • @mariohds86 Did you like the movie? :)

  • @DEAgger93 never seen more than 10 minutes, I just happened to find this very part while channel surfing.

  • Glad to see I'm not alone in my love for this movie!! It was the fact the two of them showed such restraint with each other that made some moments EXTRA SPECIAL.--- For instance, I was so touched by him "tucking her into bed" I could hardly stand it!!

Hit "like" if you expected or WANTED him to have the car turned around at end and go back and announce that he "couldnt leave her?

  • at 1:00 they have fallen for each other

  • Yes simple and pure

  • My favorite part of the entire movie is at 0:59. You can see that it's at that moment that Scarlett realizes her love for Bill.

  • @Greshman Yes, exactly. That look between them. Its what everyone wants to have but few achieve. She knows she loves him. He knows he loves her. The song that is playing sums it up. There's nothing more than this, this love. Such a awesome movie,

  • @bsanchez68 I disagree. They didn't love each other here, it was more a fanciful night of fun. I don't think they knew they were in love until the final bar/lounge scene. Of course, there was an attraction, but it wasn't until later that they realized their innermost feelings. Don't forget, they were also quite drunk here :D

  • @bsanchez68 If you remember, there were only two substantial scenes between them before this which were inclusive of mostly passing by interest. They then bumped into each other at the pool which gave way to this night out. It was a purely physical attraction intermingled with spirited heat.

It was only later that their feelings were known, regards to their fun induced days out together and the talkative night of 'togetherness', not forgetting their awkward meal later on(cont)

  • @bsanchez68 (cont)which only spurred on their emotions.

The love between them was not apparent until the morning of the fire drill and the subsequent realization they might never see each other again due to them both having to leave Japan.

  • @bsanchez68 And to let you know, many people do achieve that look(I did - for one), whether it's love or lust.. How do you think people get married and live together?.. Thankyou

  • @Greshman no, I disagree.I feel this was a moment of lighthearted drunken fun with physical attraction. It was not until later that they realized potential passion.

  • bryan perry wants to sing like bill murray.

  • I love this movie so much I bought it. It reminds me of my male friend who I met by chance. It was a business relationship over the phone which turned into a friendship. He was much older than me but it didn't matter to us. We had so much in common. He passed away 7 years ago and I'm still affected by his death. It was so sudden. Every time I see this movie I get teary. I miss him everyday, the conversations we had, and how he made me laugh.

  • I love how he turns to her and she smiles and looks away, but secretly knows in her heart that there really is nothing more than this perfect moment. There are so many awesome scenes in this film it's almost unreal

  • I'd never tell Scarlett: "more than this, we have nothing..",... thats for sure..

and i agree is a fantastic scene, with a fantastic song,... and fantastic movie

  • Not my usual type of movie but there is something extremely appealing and interesting in the Bill and Scarlett characters. The inclusion of "More than This" scene is genius.

  • I generally despise Hollywood but...This is the greatest film ever made, beautiful.

  • best bill murray evar.nice scarlett to.

  • Sean Penn STOLE the oscar for best actor from Bill Murray.... This was hands down better than the overrated Mystic River!!!

  • comment, no ! i m seaman from europe and beleve me i v got verry nice expiriance with far eeast ladys , anyway good movie , i enyoj!!!

  • never gets old

  • One of the greatest movies ever. This scene in particular is priceless. The looks exchanged between these two is so very poignant. I almost feel like a voyeur peeking in on two lovers. Powerfully emotional scene.

  • Man this movie is Beautiful.. I'm a horror film fan but there's something about this movie which just struck me.

  • This scene of the movie is what really makes it - At the powers of the unknown!!

  • does anyone know the song playing when they get into the bar/club........

  • I hate waking up in the morning and realizing I'm not Bill Murray.

  • From when Scarlett sings Brass in Pocket to when Bill puts Scartlett to bed has to be the romantic scene ever. It just so gets me.

  • scarletts expressions make my heart melt

  • At 0:57 Scarlett sees in a way that kills every man on earth!

  • The finest moment of Bill Murray's career. I am grateful that I understand this movie, not everyone does. Which is sad in many ways, because I suppose it speaks volumes about my own life.

  • @redback80 hahahahaa well said.

  • THERE GOT TO BE A BILL MURRAY MORE THAN THIS VERSION . I WOULD DOWNLOAD IT FOR SURE!

  • @Hell0er It's on the official soundtrack of the movie, hidden behind the last track. So no separate track :)

  • @SeeLaPresidenta is there any link to download it?!!!! :D

  • @SeeLaPresidenta 12 minute song, and you need to get to the last minutes to listen to it.

  • So beautifull.

It reminds me of something, I just can´t pull the trigger..=*)

  • Well put

  • Creo que esta semana pediré este tema!!

  • love the chemistry between Johansson and murray gr8film shocked how good it was! Not a fil for action die hard fans tho! butstill a must see i reckon!

  • Great scene. I like how the camera focuses on each of them at the right moments.

  • This is a very visually pleasing movie, and who doesn't lik Bill Murray but after revisiting it again today, I think it's one of the stupidest most pretencious movies I have ever seen.

  • I don't know why but that movie so deeply affected me. It's weird because no other movie ever did that, as far as I know.

  • Nice describtion, no false sentiment here. This scene always breaks me up!

  • @Obionecanblowme ..maybe because the story is so brittle. or maybe because this movie can mirror our feeling of being lonely even if you're surrounded by millions of others. Being able to really connect with someone else (regardless age, background and lifestyle) is worth golden I think.

  • @SeeLaPresidenta I like that comment.

I´ve been in a strange lanf for alomost 2 years. There are people always around me, but they´re ways and speech are foreign to me. I miss going to the store and understanding the simple conversations between people.

Normal little things when your in a strange land become much more complicated.

Anyway....Now I drink and fight too much. Best wishes=))

  • @SeeLaPresidenta Your right, these moments are scarce and when they happen I feel so vulnerable. Just like the way he sings the song. Scared to sing, with a lot of feeling towards the lyrics. He knows there's not much more than this. Only moments that will be lost in time, "like tears in rain" ;-)

  • @SeeLaPresidenta that is a very,very good comment,and thats how i feel,it is so truthfull!

  • @lightningsplitter Thanks, it's just an excellent combination of actors and director.

  • @SeeLaPresidenta "this movie can mirror our feeling of being lonely even if you're surrounded by millions of others. Being able to really connect with someone else (regardless of age, background and lifestyle) is golden I think"

That is the most eloquent description of this movie I have ever heard. I haven't found a way to describe how I connect with it. This statement needles the center of what I have looked for. Thank you. I watch it once, I have to watch it again. I can't help it.

  • @szrgirl Thanx! It's the kind of movie you can watch again every now and then... :)

  • @Obionecanblowme this part of the movie just kills me...i love this movie

  • @SeeLaPresidenta I love the description you gave the clip. It's spot on.

  • @october141927 thank you :)

  • I love this movie and I love this scene

  • I never get tired of this scene!

  • When i saw this movie right from that moment i get into Roxy Music

  • Favorite scne from lit, with the arrival... and scarlett's wake up too, and...

  • The Japanese guy singing "God save the queen" was hilarious

  • Love it, great film , great scene. can relate to this sooooo much

  • amazing scene

    amazing movie

  • Ladies and Gentleman... great movie!

  • At about 1:01 in this video clip, it seems they both realize, there can be nothing more than than "this" between the two of them. Damn this is a great movie.

  • so effortlessly sensual.

  • @redback80 he deserves a bloody grammy for this

  • I loved this film, although I feel I never understood what was going on most of the time!

  • @redback80 you sir are a wordsmith.

  • love this movie

  • I agree with dare2live

Coppola got it - right here in that moment - when Bill sings that line and only Scarlet is in focus, that look she has just destroys a thousand cities, it got me too, I actually bought the film so I could feel that emotion again - is that crazy or what?

Thank you Sofia - Scarlet - and Bill. Smiles.

  • @papertrails2you I love Scarlett the best in this movie because of the emotional subtlety. The song perfectly captures the fact that there is nothing more than this ...

  • I love this movie, but...am I think only one who thinks it's creepy for not only two married people to have strong feelings for each other but also for there to be a THIRTY-YEAR AGE DIFFERENCE?

  • @holdenc96 yeah, you're pretty much the only one.

  • @Thewlis I just looked it up. Scarlett was nineteen when she was in this. Bill Murray was fifty-three. GROSS. Oh yeah, and they're both married. One of them with kids. If that doesn't bother anyone, then screw you all! (^_^)

  • @holdenc96 you're right, it was so gross what with all of the graphic sex and just mad frenching that went on in this movie

it was about intimacy and how relationships are built and destroyed, you uncultured moron

  • @Thewlis Uncultured moron? Why! I NEVER! ~sticks tongue out~

I laugh at you. There is no lower form of life than someone who insults another person on a YouTube comments section!

  • @holdenc96 "then screw you all! (^_^)"

    then screw you all! (^_^)

    daaance my puppet, daaaaaannnnccceee

  • @holdenc96 Yeah, besides my parents you're pretty much the only one.

  • I just would like to dive in my screen and beeing there sitting next to bill an watch scarlett in her beautiful eyes too. man i'm a 19 years old normal guy who never crys, but my knees becomes to butter during watching this movie, EVERY TIME!

  • i LOVE how scarlett tips her head when she goes, "Ladies and gentlemen...Mr. Bob Harris."

  • Possibly the most important scene in the film...

  • Luv dat film, especially this scene!

  • 00:58 - 01:01 - I think that´s the moment when Charlotte falls in love.

  • @stipefan11 nah brah she's realizing bill murray won't pursue cuz the song and the way hes lookin at her and its making her question whether its here or if she really wants there to be more than this its pretty dope

  • perfect

  • 75 thumbs up and one thumbs down from Roxy Music because Bill sings it better.

  • can u upload the part of the karaoke scene where Murray sings "Peace, Love, and Understanding"? thats my favorite part of the whole film

  • There are many delicious scenes in the film.

    This is one of them.

    One of my favorite movies.

  • more than this, you know there is nothing more than this... tell me one thing more than this

  • ¿ c h e a p se n t i m e n t ?
