Its not enough because it wouldn't stop a missile, it could easily roll over a bomb and detonate, and it does cover ground as fast as helicopters or airplanes do. So in order for it to be grounded and safe for military use it would have to be EXTREMELY durable or have transformation abilities in dangerous situations which may seem movie-like but by no means impossible with the growth of technology.
