No Robin, No night wing. There are enough characters already. Batman, Catwoman, Bane and probably Talia. Nolan isn't stupid enough to make this movie less serious by adding another costumed hero. Geezus ! Stop with those already. This trilogy is about the legend of the Dark Knight/Bruce Wayne. Him and him only. Catwoman is his side kick. He doesn't need one more. I rest my case.

Many directers in the past have used disinformation campaigns such as michael bay with transformers regarding which robots were going to be in the films. If Josephs character is indeed robin I wouldnt be suprised if Nolan and Bale were telling BS to the press and fans. It would be a pretty awesome suprise to see Joseph as robin I think he can definitly handle the role to.

Robin will not be featured in this Batman franchise! And Joseph Gordon-Levitt will not be Robin or a new Batman either, that's just ridiculous! His character is a lot deeper than we know, but not anything they speculate on here. Christopher Nolan and Christan Bale have both made it clear that Robin will not be in this movie. All the other speculations seem pretty logical though. I can't wait!

The story to this is.......that straight after the dark knight bane comes to Gotham defeats batman. It takes batman 8 year to return and he win at the end.......the poster that has bane and the broken bat mask " the legend end" is in reference to that bane is the legend

Allegedly Nolans making these movies based on the stages of a magic trick outlined in the prestige. We saw a good but ordinary action move in begins (pledge) the game changed in dark knight such as Rachel dying batman becoming a outlaw (turn). So the prestige of this will be awesome. Also the movie prestige and inception may also be loosely connected parts of a trilogy based on the same rules.

It's a shame that this will be the last Batman film from Nolan. I really wanted this to be a James Bond type of series that could last many years with different actors and directors. Another example would be the Dirty Harry series which shows that you can continued the story arc without the original actors or directors attach to it.I personally thought Joseph could've play a good joker. Not the same as heath ledger,but still interesting and creepy. He was the only good performance in G.I.JOE.

Funny thing about Nolan's Batman films has been the shots taken on the ultra rich and the irony that one of the wealthiest amoung them does the most to protect the ordinary citizens. Think back to Batman Begins when Ra's Al threatens public violence against Wanye at his birthday party filled with the Gotham elite. In an effort to clear people out of the way of the coming fight he publicly calls them out on being self important snobs--That scene to me says something about Nolan more than Wayne.
