Ur gonna be firin an unsilenced wep most of the time u dont need jammer. My setup is m40 with acog. Perk: clays, stopping power, extreme conditioning. If u need iron lungs u shudnt be sniping.

UAV Jammer is a very useful perk.

With the many UAV's people get in CoD4, it is one of the most powerful perks.

You will only need to fire your unsilenced weapon if you will kill the person, and then move to your next position.

If you absolutely need stopping power for extra multipliers you really shouldn't be sniping because a sniper should always get headshots.

I don't know if sitting in grass is really camp sniping, but it's much better than buildings. In fact a real life sniper tip is to not stay inside buildings, but to be camouflage in the grass or bushes.

@cheese319 real snipers prefer buildings because they sit back a few yards and set up a firing position. they put screens over windows to stop light from coming in and revealing their position. they have lots of security and if they are using a suppressed rifle they are virtually invisible. if you are in vegetation you can easily be seen and you have no cover. as long as you sit back in a building and dont stick your barrel out of the window you will be invincible

Kwell. I use my Red tiger m40. I dont like to use my Deagle while sniping. I use the usp with no silencer, because for me the recoil of the pistol is muhc more manageable than the silencer sniper. I personally use iron lungs because im more of a sniper that waits for people to come around a corner. and claymores are only for if im hiding in a building. Advice from a COD4 player whos had the game for a year now.

what you do, is you dont plant claymores because they suck ass. you dont use iron lungs because its not needed, and you use C4, because its multipurpose, you can use it as..somewhat of a gernade..for camping..anything

Just a quick tip on your perks and psitol : you dont need to use iron lungs because it doesn't take that long to take a shot.. And your pistol i would think if your a sniper you would want a pistol with a silencer so you can be found on UAV:: everything else is pretty damn good (YY) keepit up dude

Sorry to say this but you don't decide what sniping is. Some people like to stay in one spot and snipe, others prefer to be on the move while they snipe. The beauty of this game is that it lets you decide that for yourself.

Sniping is generally using a sniper to take out your enemies. It doesn't matter how you do it!

funny story on the map you where on and the spot u were at most of the time i was doing fairly good and my first claymore went off and killed someone but i forgot 2 but the clay bore on the staris so anyways i hid against the wall in the room 3 ppl came up and set up a little protection for a sniper the sniper came in and started sniping while th other ppl where down stairs the hole time i wasnt noticed....... i went down stairs killed them then knifed the sniper

one place i found a good snipe spot is at the op for base with the little trading markeet type thing you have to jump on the car go up to the wall jump over the little walk way thing and jump on the little stand and it is a really good spot people cant see you but you can see them and its good for sniping people in the main road
