a friend of mine says the same.he just stated drumming and it all sounds verry tense he is trying really hard and maybe thats just it.

if you feel you playing to tense or you are TO focus'd on how it sounds,than you just stop.go sit in an comfortabble drum position and just let urself go.thats wat i told my friend and it really workd.its super importand to play with fun and when you have fun you just sit a lot relexter,and when you ARE relexd, you play relext,it will sound allot smoother.

I also noticed that when you just buy your drums they have like a Jamaican kind of sound...:) and i needed to stuff it. but i didnt really know what to stuff it with so i just put a shirt in my top toms and a pillow in my floor tom and my bass drums a blanket and a pillow and the snare i just left it liek that it sounded good..:)

man you are totally off. ask any drummer/percussionist and they'll be able to spot originality all over this. from the fills to the use of cymbals and just the feel of their groove. maybe its not the player's lack of doing. i really think its YOUR lack of knowledge when it comes to percussive originality.
