The Black church was at one time a symbol of hope in the black community but has been corrupt since the 1970s by greedy preachers and poor leadership. I think the black community can get back on track but the church needs a renaissance to purge itself crooked preachers first and then start addressing the needs of black people.

I think us Christians lost sight of what it means to be Christian. We go to church believe feel the Spirit make sure we don't sin(fonication,don't steal etc,) but many Christians don't have an intimate relationship with Jesus and many of us Christians are not fighting for Jesus reaching to people about Jesus and reaching souls. I say Amen! Those things mentioned are not just problems in the black church. A sign of the times I'm afraid. There are many false prophet's these days and false doctrines. Black Churches are not the leaders of a new school of thought or anything progressive. They are like she said OLD TESTAMENT and shall fall by example. Even though we do not SEE what goes on in the White church they are WHITE and are expected to live well off of their well Educated, EMployed White congregation. I am a Black Woman an ex church goer and MY stand is that religion in the BLACK community must GO! Islam, Christianity, Catholicism. All myst GO in order to be one!

i agree. .but you shouldn't just aim at black churches there are white churches, and other nationalities as well. HATE it when blacks are quick to down other blacks. There are all types of "spirit" dancers, FEMALE preachers(i.e Pastor S. Brady), and music departments in the music ministry. People have gifts as they always have, don't make it seem like blacks are a unit corrupt ministry,

Although I do agree that this happens to churches of all nationalities, in defense of this video, she has a good reason to aim this at the black community. I grew up with mainly African-Americans and they happened to be drawn to these kind of churches that are really hyped up and man-centered. Black communities usually struggle financially and are turned on to these money-centered churches. It's a fact. She has every good intention and reason to target blacks in this video.

Alexander insisted that the Son was fully and truly God, in as absolute a sense as the Father was. There were a few other factual errors in this report. You seem intelligent, so please check primary sources before posting videos for all the world to see your lack of due dilligence. She is right about these money grubbing preachers, (black and white) but she is overlooking the fact that they wouldn't have all this money if the dummies sitting in the pews and watching them on TV didn't give them the money. Yes, these preachers will stand before God one day and be judged for their deceitful tactics, but God will also hold those people who gave them the money accountable.

I think us Christians lost sight of what it means to be Christian. We go to church believe feel the Spirit make sure we don't sin(fonication,don't steal etc,) but many Christians don't have an intimate relationship with Jesus and many of us Christians are not fighting for Jesus reaching to people about Jesus and reaching souls. I think we have forgotten being Christian is about doing assignments to bring people to Him. Not just believing.We have to take action.Myself definitely included.

I love this woman, she is so right! However; I don't think this is ONLY in the black church, it is in ALL churches. I also know that you don't have to live like a pauper in the ministry. God loves his people and will give you the desires of your heart as long as you are living right. Though you don't have to be a pauper, you still must exercise proper discretion when it comes to church monies.

All we can do is go to God in prayer. There is only one intercessor and that is Jesus Christ. Not a pope and not a black preacher. There is only one way to be saved, and that is to confess that Jesus Christ is lord and savior. That is it, nothing else or nobody else can save you. Remember what the old "At The Cross" gospel song said, "FREE TO ALL, a healing stream, that flows from calvary's mountain"
