  • i hereby declare my approval of this rig

  • Nice cruiser mate!

But I was actually wondering what the music is :D Could you be so kind as to let me know? :P

  • Amazing, what type of over-head light light bar do you have? and what color is the interior? perfect combination with the green.

  • @SeniorFJ The light bar was custom made. The interior was yellow.

  • nice fj man !! ive got a 78 and was wondering if the 8.1 L chevy engin would fit in it ..does it use the same brackets as the 5.7 ?

  • @freakofmtb Cheers. My twin brother has the same year as you and runs a fresh 350/mild cam in his. His isn't injected though ;) I don't know about the 8.1L size or brackets sorry. I'm sure a little research on google will sort that out.

  • @freakofmtb Can't help ya sorry. I don't know enough about the 8.1

  • nice toy but not big on chevy

  • Pete,

  • @orangeboxlover The bull bar was custom made for the truck.

  • what kind of bull bar is that?

  • goddamn i fckn love ur truck! wut kind of flares are those? or are they custom fabricated?

  • @SKOPE915 Cheers. The flares are all fabricated. Made with 2 inch heavy gauge steel tube covered with heavy duty alloy tread plate. ;)

  • Nice motor! and nice work!!

I am thinking of importing a FJ40 to UK next year. Is there any Australian websites I can browse to get the price details?

  • @4x4offroadchallenge Cheers. Not sure about any Australian websites. But I'm sure if you googled it you'd come up with something to help you.

  • awsome swap, good cuts as well.

planning my vortec swap right now with marks offroad adapter as well.

  • What headers did you use for the conversion? Also What sump did you use. I am in the process of doing up my 45 ute and want to put an ls1 in it as well

any info would be cool thank you

  • If you're going to use the original running gear like I have you'll need an adapter bowl housing kit. I use one called a Marks adapter kit. The headers on my LS1 are off a VE model Holden. The sump is off a late model Corvet. Hope that helps.

  • Great job,A+

  • Cheers for that!

  • Awesome vid Pete!!!

just a question what is that round thing behing your airbox? i'm thinking that its your alarm siren?

    Keep the vids coming!

    Andy

  • Cheers Andy!

That round thing is the P.A speaker. Or I call it my negative road rage voice amplifier. lol

It's pointing up for full effect. But when it fills with mud or water there are drain holes in the bottom of it. ;-)

  • nice pete!!!

  • Cheers!
