i hooked up a lipo to my micro crawler and it started smoking so i hurried up and unpluged it and now only the steering works the motor does not. i only had it for about 4-5 days it kinda makes me mad what should i do?

@snsrcraceway Sounds like you definitely hurt something there. Are you sure you had the polarity right? What size LiPo were you using?

that losi micro li-po is good. I got about 15 minutes from that battery. With the thunder power 250mah 2-cell lipo i get about 20-25 minutes of crawling time.

No, unfortunately they use totally different protocols than Spektrum uses.

I was getting 6-8 minutes out of the stock battery. The LiPo will improve run time but don't know by how much (haven't tested one yet)

@KTMBOY1112 bnd stands for bind and drive. it doesn't come with a digital controller so you can save some money if you already have one

rtr stands for ready to run so it comes with the controller hope that helps if u need more help just ask :-)

take fishing sinkers and flatten them out with a hammer. If you mold them a little they will fit inside the rims with no glue. Makes the micro crawl oh so much better. 1/4 ounce fishing worm weights work perfect

dx5e is an air radio so probabbly not.

in the past have tried to bind my dx6i w/ a surface rx. ive also tried to bind my dx3r w/ an air rx. both a "no go"

Rich addresses rear steer in the video. As far as a Dig I don't think there's enough room on the chassis or around the transmission to pull one off.

X2 one of the reasons the mini has yet to come out with a mass produced dig.

since its a worm gear though you should be able to modify the rear drive shaft to disconnect. but since the micro servo for the disconnect would probabbly be on the rear axle instead of the chassis its going to take a lot of tweaking to get it just right.
