The best Technical Death was the old school stuff (or the stuff done old school style)....half of TechDeath nowadays is just how fast you can blast and shred,

the good old stuff ( both old and new) is song structure, complexity, and enjoyability all together, like Chemical Breath, Pavor, Death, Carcariass, Gorguts, Augury, etc.....thats the best kind .... its not just speed speed speed....\m/

Necrophagist are very talented, and i love to hear a touch of classcal influence in metal, but they can't write memorable songs, same goes with behold...the arctopus or beneath the massacre. Talented bands that can play insane stuff, but spend too much time wowing the listener with technicallity and lots of odd time signatures, but their songs just aren't memorable
