  • Duramax 435hp with stock exhaust? Wheres the dyno sheet?

  • my 94 buick can do this.! weak!

  • looks cold as hell out there

  • nice man kool kid

  • Knallgøy! Finnes ikke no' bedre enn ett jorde med snø og en skikkelig bil.

  • The Mother Chevy teaching its offspring to hill climb as do all mother Chevy's they teach there young how to handle the daily life as one of the pack.... the mother Chevy Drags the prey to encourage the young Suburban to Attack with fantastic speed ! this is hows Chevy breed...

  • 03-05 dmaxs are my favorite styles. they have the mean headlight style and just an all around nice looking truck. nice video

  • Dette er good times! Fin Chevy også. :)

  • where do you guys do this

  • Caleb505 it ain't wastin much fuel I owned one that got 17 city 23 highway as good as a 5.3 tahoe lol but I agree it is alotta fun

  • This wastes so much fuel but it's soo fun! :)

  • MOVE BITCH, GET OUT DA WAY!

  • yea like 07-2010

  • that was for the guys that say those people are stupid or something like that

and don't make a discusion about a car that's your own view

  • what the fuck is your problem guys?

those people having fun whats wrong with that? you never got a life like this? you never had so much fun like this? i have a better idea for you search a life or hang yourself and sorry about my bad english. i don't live in america anymore i moved when i was 1

  • I wish more parents would take their teenage drivers out and let them do this same thing. Then they can practice on keeping control of a vehicle. My dad used to take us to the school parking lot on a weekend. He would have us do everything including trying to hit those clumps with each different tire so we would always know where our tires were.

Both boys and girls had to change a tire, change the oil and check fluid levels or we were not allowed to get our license.

    Thanks dad.......

  • It can push 435 with just a tuner, wtf does still haveing a stock exhaust have to do with it? what you wrote didnt even make sense, "you even have to stock exhaust' ? what are you a retard, do you need to go back to school? wait you probably are still in school, let me guess 2nd grade?

  • 435hp my ass... you even have to stock exaust

  • @DODGEramDAMN so?

  • bwahahaha that was funny! "weeee" lol, how about we put 100 people on a sled and get pulled around behind a dura. and for extra fun, have the dura dump some coal.

  • What tires it the Silverado running?

  • there are to many biased, one sided jackoffs commenting on vids like this, were are gears heads, we may prefer one brand over the other but in reality all trucks are good trucks assuming there made domestic, so why does everyone on here hate on fords chevys and dodges, there all great vehicals just because you prefer one brand over the other doesnt make the other brand a peice of shit.

  • @SupremeThunda23 why you automatically just gotta hate on ford?

  • I come onto a chev video and people bash Ford. On Ford videos no one ever bashes other companies. I suppose the Ford drivers know what the best truck is(they drive it) so they don't have to bash others to make their truck seem better. We already know it is. Chev on the other hand seems to talk themselves up like the losing team. But you all know Ford is better. That's why they always sell more trucks. Moral of the story is don't bash the leading truck sales. They lead for a reason.

  • @MrRnizio1 On the contrary to that if Chev is so good then why are they in debt billions of dollars to both the Canadian and American Governments. It's hilarious how you people think. Most of you are probably children whose father drives a Chev. So you side with it and call everything not in suit shit. Let me tell you something deep inside your old man is begging for a Ford.

  • @MrRnizio1 quality over quantity.

  • @TXIIRONSPLEEN I'd prefere quality at a cheaper price.

  • @MrRnizio1 then fords outa the question.

  • @TXIIRONSPLEEN Not so much. They have been number 1 selling truck for 33 years in a row now. If GM was so quality people would spend the extra cash to get them. Instead GM had over 10B granted as a loan and around 50 invested in stocks from the govenment. From my personal experience I can say Ford is better.

  • @MrRnizio1 ford is cheaper. thats why. chevy is the longest lasting most dependable truck in america. do some research

  • @TXIIRONSPLEEN I bet you get your biased opinion off their commercials or website. Please show me some unbiased websites where it states GM is the most dependable.

From what I know in Ontario bigger companies like Cn railroad use Ford. If GM was the most reliable they'd have them.

  • Nice IFS queer

  • can those duramax's even get stuck?

  • now thats how u drive in snow lol.ford wouldve never EVER made that.

  • where was this at?

  • this si why chevy rocks and ford sucks

  • what shit of snow!25cm! bmw 525ix lock this video! bmw525ix

  • haha he disappeared lmfao

  • a few frends just heaving a snow FUN......nice VId ..dude

  • this video proves that diesel has more power than gas lol go diesel

  • i think the bull bar gives that extra 140 hp over stock

  • wow, i am so impressed that a 435 hp truck could go through this little snow lol. put that truck through a real challenge and then show it off for a 2 wheel drive with good tires could drive in this kid stuff

  • @76hodges dude shut up they're just havin fun

  • I don't give a fuck about horsepower, it's a DIESEL. What's the torque output?

  • i bet since there is no lifts that a suburban would do better cause of the weight being balance in the back a bit more they are still trucks even though it looks like a van

  • I think they should have kept this design for longer. The design they came up with in 2007 is very ugly. By the way, very nice and capable truck. Can anyone tell me how can I up the power on a duramax and remove the top speed limiter without coughin up a fortune. Thanks.

  • 435hp haha yea and my stock 5.3L makes 500hp.

  • shut te fuck up. stop being a bitter little bitch caue you can't afford a real truck!

  • haha your funny.

  • Actually 435hp, let alone 500, is very easily accomplishable in any modern day diesel truck. They sure don't make it stock, but with a good tune and a few other little things it's easy.

  • A chip, intake, and exhaust in a diesel goes alot farther than a gas motor for sure.

  • That's funny because the highest stock output for a 5.3L Vortec is 255 hp, and 330 foot pounds of torque. Don't gotta lie to kick it.

  • Actually the 5.3l has 295hp not sure on torque right off hand. I wasnt lieing just like the poster wasnt lieing about this stock duramax making 435hp. Put it on a dyno and then I will believe its making 435hp.

  • the 5.3 makes 295 stock, its the old 5.7 that makes 255, maybe sort out your numbers before posting?

  • Maybe check three different GM spec websites before YOU post? Yeah, that's right.

  • Is it wrong? and what you said about diesels...whats the torque, its not hard to guess, the torque is usually directly related to the HP, 435 HP is probly close to 900 ft lbs torque, yet a built gas engine putting out only 650 or so ft lbs torque would have close to 700 HP and kill the big torquey diesel, you need torque AND HP to be fast....

  • @TacticalSuperRebel um my dmax has 1100 hp and 1900 tq hmm not fast my ass.... wanna race ?

  • @scooter4life1311 if I had an 1,100 HP gas engine-powered vehicle to race you with, I would.... and with that much power, traction becomes an issue, having the wrong tires could cost the race....LOL

  • @scooter4life1311 - What's the world record in the quarter mile for a Diesel? 8.5 or so? What's the world record for a Top Fuel Dragster? 4.351. Gasoline is superior.

I would squarely plant an 1100 horsepower cast aluminum small block against a Diesel of equivalent power for a variety of reasons. Your engine is far heavier, so are your transmission and axles, and you lose more power through the drive line. Lighter weight, more power to the ground means Gas wins in a drag race.

  • @Slipknotyk06 8.5 maybe in a truck. I'm quite sure someone has thrown a diesel motor into a car and gotten in faster than that.

  • @recniabsal Maybe I should check my numbers. There is an 8.5 sec Cummins, and a 7.9 Banks Sidewinder. I still don't think that any diesel will touch top fuel's world record. Top fuel is at 4.34

  • @Slipknotyk06 Were they in trucks or cars? Top fuel is not even a car, its stripped down to weight practically nothing. If high 8's is the fastest they've gotten a diesel so far, well they just need a few more years development. How long have gas motors been under 10 seconds? The 60's I believe. Gas motors have a half a decade jump on diesel.

  • @recniabsal - Top Fuel and Top Diesel are identical chassis. Top Fuel is currently about 2 seconds faster. Top Fuel style chassis have been under 10 seconds since the early 50s. Top Diesels won't hit 4.34 for probably an other 20 years, which is when I believe the Top Fuels will be 3.6-3.8, I do believe Diesel may catch gas, but I don't think it will be for an other 40-50 years. Top Fuel dragsters produce 6,000 horsepower. Top Diesels produce a little over 2,000.

  • @Slipknotyk06 Yeah but they probably put out like 4,000 lb feet of torque. Its a 2 to 1 torque to horsepower ratio with diesel motors usually.

  • @recniabsal - It's usually not quite a 2 to 1 torque to horsepower ratio. As Diesels climb in horsepower, they lose torque just the same as gas engines do. It varies with the tune. The reason is that in order to gain top end power, low end torque is compromised. That 2,000 horsepower cummins probably is about 1.5-1.65 to 1 torque to horsepower. This comes out to 3,300 max. This means the Top Fueler still out-torques the Top Diesel at around 4,500. Top Fuelers produce .75 torque per horsepower.

  • @scooter4life1311 - I'm also calling you out, you don't own a DMAX with 1100 horsepower and 1900 torque!

  • @Herps85 uhh im pretty sure a STOCK 5.3 doesnt make 500

  • I believe it makes about 285-295Hp.

  • yea the 5.3 makes 295

  • why did the suburban come along if he was gonna be a party pooper lol

  • haha kult:) allt en chevy 4wd kan brukes til:P

  • Whoevers drivin that suburban needs to get friendly with the skinny pedal

  • @SuicidalFurby the suburban probably has traction control turned on.. senses slip.. = no more power for you.. i had to push one out of 6 inches of snow here in kansas. and as some of you might know.. there are nooooo hills

  • More like 235 lol

  • more like 335 hp

  • @dsiss45 how the fuck do you know that did you mathematically figure it out by the tire spin? you're a fucking idiot shut your mouth cause it just makes you look even stupider.

  • @600mitch STUPIDER isn't a word dumbass. Who's the idiot now retard

  • @Backwoodsboy350 you are for even commenting, don't waste you're time oh wait i'm sure you have more time than you know what to do with since you prolly live with your mother in the basement. now shut the fuck up and don't reply!

  • @dsiss45 duramax's are like 360 stock

  • @07gmclover 2011 are 397 i believe

  • @madjere1 well this one aint 2011 this is like 03

  • @dsiss45 335hp still beats your moms minivan ...

  • @angelski2921 by 50hp lol

  • @milldabeast519 and how much more torque ? lmfao.

  • @dsiss45 Its a diesel..Just sayin.

  • haha he gets stuck

  • weak!!

  • love that turbo sound

  • My 4X4 s10 could climb that with highway tires easy

  • fake

  • Whats fake?

  • take a look whats Lada Niva doin in snow :) hehe

  • gm trucks dont throw that much black smoke. when they do smoke they either have been idling for a long time or havent been pushed hard for awhile.dodge and ford are more infamous for dark black smoke.

  • i want a duramax 03-06 but they are soooo hard to find. i heard duramax is the best b/c here in canada the winters are pretty cold and the duramax start beautifully in the cold. can someone comment on cold starts?

  • the best duramax was built in 06 with Alison 6 speed trunsmission...get that one you won't regret

  • @courtsm3 best thing you can get for your diesel if you live in cold weather is a block heater. i use one on my f 350 and on my v-dub and they start first try every time in single digit and below zero temps.

  • @courtsm3 block heater

  • Mine has been awesome in cold starts, but plugging them in is still best. starts till about minus 20 without any problems i'd say.

  • yeah i seen the tires they got on, they got sme kind of winter tire, blizzaks, toyo's or michilen, not sure, thats why is climbing so well, well plus the hp.

  • his extra lights dont look to bright

  • i did that only i did it on a old car hood.lol its so fun.

  • what tires are on the duramax?

  • iv done that with laramie performers A/T's M+S (mud n snow)

  • iv done that with Laramie Performer A/T's M+S (mud n snow) but those dont look like A/Ts

  • its so cool men

  • is the suburban a 2500???

  • A ford would have never got started in this cold weather

  • haha..if you take care of it anyhting can do it... :)

  • shutup bitch. ive got a 93 silvrerado 350, and it just turned 450,000 MILES!!!!!!! theres a chevy for ya ford bitch!

  • wow my old cummins i had rolled over to 650K before i got rid of it.... big whoop you feel special you want a cookie or something?

  • wow....your cummins is a disel.........did you doge V8 last tat long? didnt think so

  • ok first of all learn how to fucking spell.

second of all the cummins DIESEL engines that are put into the DODGE ram's are a straight 6 not a v-8.

yeah and the only rigs worth having are diesels. because they can take the abuse, they work alot harder run better, get better mileage and come stock with parts that only racing gasoline engines have. you had to baby your 350 to get 450K. most any diesel will see 450K

  • i know you shithead. any my 350 pulls a 4500LB bayliner around all summer, and pulls our fithwheel! so dont even try saying a babied it. its had its fair share of beatings. YOU DONT SEE DODGE V8's LASTING THAT LONG

  • thats because dodge's v8's suck and cummins isnt made by dodge.

  • theres a guy on a few duramax vids that you need to tell that to.. iv pissed him off enough telling him about my duramax.. ford children dont believe us, all i have to say is fuck em

  • thats great man, too bad you ifs. ha

  • i disagree

  • @SupremeThunda23 Lol that why my neighbors 7.3 f250 starts every morning? I live in minnesota btw where it gets pretty damn cold. -16 regularly.

  • @gunzkevin yeah i know jsut doing some trash talking..hah and yeah i live in stearns county, MN also btw..

  • @SupremeThunda23 - First, you have no clear picture on actual temperature. Second, I've never had an issue getting a Ford started in cold temperatures, though, admittedly, I've never owned a diesel. In my municipality, Ford Powerstrokes are used as plow trucks by Home Owners' Associations, and I have never once seen these vehicles have a problem starting, ESPECIALLY when equipped with engine block heaters.

  • @Slipknotyk06 yeah i know i was just being a chevy fan-boy i know that they can my father has one ...

  • @SupremeThunda23 - At least someone admits it! I get a lot of these wingering fanboys talking shit. Then, when they're pinned down, they'll never admit they're wrong.

One item i get this most on is the fact that stock for stock, a Ford 5.4 produces more power than a TBI (80s model) 454 (7.5) because the TBI motors are horribly restricted. Chevy didn't render themselves competitive until they moved to PFI in 2003.

  • @SupremeThunda23 you numb nutted son of a bitch you done got butt raped by a damn goat for saying that shit about a ford! my 4.2 could do that shit so much quicker than thatr damn duramax w/ so many hop ups! my truck do that shit quicker from factory bitch! you god damned nut suckin chicken fucker!

  • @miketheredneckable does the spped really mater its hader to go slow i thought?????

  • @KillerKyle94 speed = more fun! and my bad, i was jacked up the night i made that comment, can you tell?

  • @miketheredneckable oh uh ya ok lol i thinkj i do

  • @KillerKyle94 dude, i wanna see what that truck can do in the sand! my truck tears it up in the sand, what you think you can do?

  • @miketheredneckable well idk how the tread will take it but its got a lift 4wd and big tires prolly not bad

  • @KillerKyle94 i understand my situation, speed is everything because my 4.2 only has 2 wheel drive and my 4x4 isnt running, rebuilding it into a bigass toy.

  • @miketheredneckable to n\make no sense and get off tpic i want it to snow

  • Chevy Silverado...#1 Truck in the World...

    And longest lasting... <:P

  • I agree, chevy rocks! :)

  • lol, that looks like fun!

  • Are you guys in Europe, because those aren't any plates I've ever seen in America.

  • it's in Norway, there were about 60 cm snow =) if you look at the video No. 2, it is even more snow

  • That's awesome, Vikings drive Chevys. That makes them even cooler than before (both Vikings and GM trucks.) I didn't know foreign countries liked American trucks. It's nice to see you guys having some fun in the snow. I live in Wisconsin, so we do stuff like this all the time, too. Though, we don't get two feet (aka 60 cm) in one sitting, though!

  • my brothers 1993 1 ton reg cab 6.5L turbo diesel can do this uphill too...he has 33" tsl boggers on it tho..and 456gears

  • a 1993 6.5 with a 700R4 and pro comp mud terrain tires can do the same in that much snow and more, just not uphill.. lol

    pretty nice truck though

  • i noticed your tires never packed full of snow...what size and kind are they?

  • they look like A/T's cause if they were mudders they would throw snow

  • 435 hp my ass, its got a stock exhaust. 435 at the crank i might believe

  • yea i'd have to agree with that. Not sayin you're a liar just sayin with stock exhaust it doesn't seem too safe

  • Pretty sure it doesn't say 435 bhp or 435 whp, it just says hp so he is prolly saying 435 at the crank.

  • no cause even that much hp at the crank he would be pourin black smoke out even with stock exhaust..

  • If this is a LMM 6.6ltr diesel engine it would have 365hp stock at the crank, its only a 70hp increase, thats not gonna put out a hole lot more smoke, for that you dont need to change the injectors or anything serious, maybe its just chipped, or is running on a couple more psi of boost.

  • ya but this trucks exhaust is stock so ya it must be a chip with stock exhaust system..cause you dont get 70hp from straight pipin your truck maybe 25hp...cause my brother has a 05 duramax and its straight piped so i think he gained 15 to 20hp in do so

  • Yeah, friend got his chipped and that raised it about 60-90hp. but yeah. You wouldn't get much from straight piping it. You would also be surprised by the figures that you can get from boosting the turbo up a couple more psi.

  • Not necessarilly, I have an 06 D-max with the MBRP turbo back and I don`t have a cat. I use a Banks 6 gun tuner and I only get a little black smoke on the #6 setting but it clears out at mid range.

  • i see...yours will smoke for a bit till you get up to speed

  • Yeah, once my turbo builds enough pressure, it clears right up. My buddy uses a Bully Dog tuner on his 02 LB7 and it smokes a lot on the highest setting but that is a 155 HP tune. D-maxes little turbos don't spool enough for the amount of fuel. The Aurora 3000 is a perfect turbo for a stock fueled D-Max. That's my next investment.

  • ya but a chip will do the turbo...but i'd just go aftermarket 3" turbo with bigger fuel lines and injectors....thats wat i did to my 06 cummins ( and alot of other things..lol) my brothers 05 d-max is stock except exhaust...my 06 cummins is twin turbo, clutch kit lifted 7"s with 44's, but he wants to do more to his.

  • I also have an 06 Cummins. There are pictures of it on Diesel Power Magazines website under my user name turboram33. I installed a htb2/64 turbo, I had to go to an additional CP3 pump with a fass 150 lift and a boost fooler to get rid of the surge. It still smokes at first but I have it wastegated at 45 psi. Both of my trucks are on Diesel Power's website. The Dodge has 15,000 miles on it. LOL

  • thats pretty cool....when i lifted mine to put 44" TSL BOGGERS on it... i changed the gears to 4:56's and went to a heavier clutch kit, then it just went out of control...i was doin things to the motor, and it went from the little stuff, then i took it out and sent it away got the compression dropped and twins put on it, i got two 3" turbos an it pushes 856hp and 1872 ft pds. of torque

  • What did you drop the compression to? You don't have to the 06's are already pretty low. What size twins did you use? and did you change the studs? Did you fire ring it? What pistons are you running?

  • in order to make some good hp you gotta drop the compression...i only dropped it 2 lower then stock not much..cause it gets high up in cost for producing hp out this style of cummins....i told the engine builder to build it to wat i'd like and he did the piston types and he got everything set, then i chose the cam, and crank, but in the 6months of havin the truck i blew the crank out of it so i just got a new one and a heavier one too

  • sweet duramax..... i would take one any day of the year over a cummins and a powerstroke......but i like the cummins more than a powerstroke....... and what mods do u got on that duramax

  • looks like madd fun and that you guys had a great time =] is this public or on private land? haa

  • Very cool video :D hopefully i can make my own video like this when we get some snow in denmark soon

  • it's norwegian for horsepower ;)

  • nice. whats 435hk????????
