  • i agree with giving your body one day a week for resting, depends what your training for tho. at the moment im doing the fat rip process, so my day off is sunday. i spend the day eating starchy carbs, veg and protein to resupply the muscles properly, it works great. the other 6 days i do cardio first thing on empty stomach then have bowl of oats+2 wholemeal slices bread+ 2 egg whites, lunch: fish+rice+veg, mid afternoon:rice+fish, then WEIGHTS, then dinner:chicken+potatoe+veg,+ protein later on

  • @jonasfevertothemax NOT just fruit... not fruit juice... and not mixed with other foods. My advice... eat ONLY RAW fruit & veggies at least one day per week.

  • @Ninety9Soulz Give you body a break at least once a week. Simple tips are sometimes the smartest. :-) "Periodic Monodieting" (the notion of giving your digestive system a break periodically) is actually one of the best things you can do for long-term health. Thanks for watching. :-)

  • @Ninety9Soulz If that's you doing push-ups on your channel's homepage, please make sure you watch my previous video... the one I posted last week about push-ups. I think it will help you out a lot. I'd be interested it seeing if you can perform a dozen in perfect form (by the standards set in my video). If you can't... you'll DEFINITELY need to take a break from exercise at least once a week. :-)

  • @StandFirm If you watched that video you'd have seen an annotation stating I realize those push ups were in poor form. I am obsessive in using good form when actually working out and start with a set of push ups to start my chest/tricep workout. I can usually do 28-35 perfect push ups.

  • @Ninety9Soulz I did see that annotation and I certainly wasn't trying to offend you. I would suggest trying a set of push-ups where you completely touch your chest flush to the ground... going up in 1-2 seconds and going down in 7 seconds (7 real seconds). Don't pause at the bottom. Go ALL the way up, but don't lock your arms and don't pause at all at the top either. I would be VERY impressed if you could get 12, which would take approximately 2 minutes. Make a video and post? I'll comment.

  • @StandFirm I thought you meant standard push ups. Those are alot different than what I was thinking. Yeah I don't know how many of those I could do, but I'll check them out. If I do a video doing them I'll let you know. Goal is 12 I suppose lol

  • @Ninety9Soulz Those ARE standard... by my book. (and BUY my book) haha :-) Seriously, with a 7 second eccentric (lowering) component, you'll be lucky to get more than 7 reps initially. But don't dismay, it's the fastest way to improve strength. Also, a muscle only gets stronger in the range of motion that it is worked. If you don't use full range of motion during each exercise session, you are going to have weak points which increase your likelihood of injury. Also... expect to be SORE!!
