As a former pilot and aviation enthusiast I can tell you those jets "Look" like the Grumman F-14 tomcat, however, their wings are set too far back. More importantly, the F-14 was retired out of the fleet in 2006. The 3 ship formation, BTW is so tight, it leads me to believe this is CGI

Those are russian fighters of some sort......definatly not F-14s which makes me wonder if this was filmed/made in asia somewhere.....where theres not really human rights, free speach or tourism. According to Wikipedia, the last F-14 in the U.S. was retired in 2006. That means that

1)This video was either taken outside the U.S. -or-

2)taken prior to 2006. -or-

3)The government uses retired planes for these sorts of projects -or-

I know little to nothing about CG. I have, however, lived my whole life near two major Naval Air Stations. I witness fighter jets flying at all different altitudes and in different formations on a near daily basis. To me, the two jets look and sound just like two F-14's flying at that speed, altitude, and formation should.

This is fake. The aircraft resemble the old Ameican F14A Tomcats (SeeTop Gun) and these aircraft where decommissioned in the 90's. Area 51 has a 15 mile exclusion zone to stop the public seeing low level flying. They would not fly over Civi ville like this in broad daylight. And their speed, a bit too slow imo they would have been flying alot faster to avoid people getting a proper look and would have been out of sight before the sound reached the camera. It is sad to see yet more fakes

i think it's real. here are some reasons why:

1 he could have been going to film the river, which i would do, because i love nature

2 the audio from the jets is what you would hear in life if jets were flying that low over such terrain

3 looks like a test aircraft of sorts; notice the single "light" on the back near the end of the video, looks like a jet engine(the sound of which would be covered up by the two fa-18s [my guess]. which im sure would have lower sound output to inhance stealth)

1) A human couldn't pilot an alien craft.

2) An alien wouldn't take orders from our government (to fly with the jets)

3) Not in a million years would they let everyone see a real UFO. They would transport it on a large vehicle and cover it up.

The jets are only about 400-500 meters away (MAX!) and the sound is already fading while the proportions doesn't fit with the trees and the transmission lines.

It's fake. Look at the wings on the jets as they bank into the turn; the wing lengths on each side are very different. The right wing is way too short. It' looks like two F-14 Tomcats. Even if was real, it would have to be a video that is 5 years old. The F-14 Tomcat was decommissioned in 2006.

@Henrygoff If it's CGI, is a VERY GOOD one. The jet fighters are leaving no trails behind, that's why I think it's a hoax.

I've seen some videos with presentations of that program E-on Vue and it's the most realistic 3D rendering software I've seen. It's absolutely jaw-dropping and surely someone with skills can render a 40 sec motion like that.

To me, it "appears" fake because in stills (in both views of the aircraft), the planes appear IDENTICAL in size, shape and alignment with one another....I mean, it's possible but I am not so sure about this....

I analyzed this video and there are several indications that this is a authentic video, In the the second view of the aircraft you see them pass behind trees 2 times. Even for a professional that would bee very hard to achieve.
