I recommended this film and saw it at Independent theater. For some reason alot of people I know watched it were not that impressed. You must understand this film was made for $5 million budget. It is an independent film. It was not widely released. In fact Duncan Jones the director showed it at a screening at NASA! It is an entertaining, thought provoking intelligent film. Not a Commercial feature made & dumbed down for mass audiences. Which is why I liked it. Jones is making lrger films now.

I love this movie... I only have a problem with the premise. If we have mastered fusion energy, we can probably get to the Moon with ease. You wouldn't have any reason to to a 3-year stay.

throw in the fact that spending 3-years on the moon in its low gravity would be hugely detrimental to your health and you've got a perfect movie to place on Mars rather than the Moon. Still though, incredible sci fi

I'd love to have that lunar rover truck. I can totally see myself driving it down I-25 here in Colorado. These are very good trucks espically in rugged and rough terrain. I notice the way the trucks turn. The wheels don't turn, but the sterring allows one side of the truck to slow down and the other side to keep a constant speed. Thats why I love this truck since it is different from other vehicles.
