@steelhorseclub Yes, a lot of the religious beliefs involved resurrection. I may be wrong, but I think Jesus was suppose to be the first that actually came back, as told by others. I think he is the first zombie. At least it makes for a good story, perhaps a movie one day.

Personally, I don't want it to end, but I wouldn't be upset about it if it did. Especially with Christian mythology regarding the rapture. If they're wrong, they look stupid, if they're right, us heretics don't have to put up with them anymore. It's win win for atheists.

and the people that thought the world is ending are the same type of people that think that the Mayan calendar is not just a calendar but its a dooms day clock, which is not very surprising cause every couple of years theres some ridiculous world ending apocalypse that comes and goes, and swallows the money of the poor and unintelligent, a good example is the tv show Preparing for the Apocalypse

however it does make some fantastic movies / shows

and thats why i hope they continue to be created
