the doctor i got she just showed me how to do it (with her own, but not actually doing it, just putting her hands near her eyes and doing the motions), and told me to do it and try myself. that way I find works best if you're getting trained to use them
Wow! they put the contacts on her? my first time at the opticians. he taught me how to put in and take out . if the optician wanna put for me like in this video, i would scream so much! xD and my first time is exactly like this, just i do it my own. Yea when I first got my contacts it took me like 30 min to get ONE in!! And then I got the other one in pretty easily. It's not hard now. :). But I don't think they should have other people put it in for you. Because you'll never learn.I can't wait to get my colour contacts!!!!

People putting on your contacts is easier then you putting them in for the first time. It's alright if you take that long putting them in for the first time bcoz your eyes are not useto things touching it & you need to be patient with it.. the 2nd time i tried putting them in i needed help opening my eye and then I found out some techniques likes its easier to put them in if your eyes are sharply open.
Make sure they r not inside out! If they are, the ends would be sticking out, so try to fold it, if the ends do not touch it is inside out! Or check if u got them in the right eye, if u don't they will feal sorta icthy and u won't be able to see any better!
If you just got them yesterday, your eye will feel irritable from the lens.
Did they tell you to wear them for a only a few hours per day for the first week?
You must wear them everyday for your eye to get use them rapidly. The cavity around your eye may at first try to reject them by forming a cyst under one of the lids of your eye.
Nothing to panic about...just make sure your hands are clean when touching them and to use the correct lubing, cleaning, and storing solutions.
omg.. that's scary. some1 putting a cotact on you. e.. my Dr. never did that she tought me how to put it by myself. and it's much easier 'cause it's not scary. like make up, when they put eye liner at the bottom it makes me want to cry. hahaha! so i guess they're the same.
It's a little hard in the beginning, but hey! Practice makes perfect. When I put in the contacts, I always do it in front of a mirror incase I mess up. I have soft contacts, so they come off easier. Hard ones...I'm not too sure about those :(
dont be scared of it.. its not better nor worse who puts it in.. but its much easier if u do.. no its not hard after u get used to it.. just like learning math probelms that u had no clue about.. u have no idea and its kind of hard nd then it gets easy.. and the eye doctor won't let u have them untill u get them in so yeah, you'll do fine.. give them a try and i think they should give u a sample pair like for a few weeks.. so if u dont like them then dont order more.. good luck ;)

At first, it's hard. In time, with practice, it becomes effortless.
