Sheila, thanks for such a great song.When my mother would come and take my 2 brothers and I away for a weekend (from a very bad foster home) ,she would often play the other version.and cry because dad had left her/us plus could not afford ot her own take care of us. Now she has just left us,passed away....Now we cry....Miss you mumsy. ..Thanks again

I love this song. I like the two versions, but her voice is so different. It got so deep over the years, her was very high pitched in the 1970s when she sang this song as the lead vocal.
