  • this is just a wonderful song... dont know what it has to do with any religion.

  • good thoughts on the comment page here, but when all is said and; this is just a beautiful song.

  • 2 people no times in love.

  • Born Thomas Jackson. Tommy hit #19 in Billboard, 3-29-80. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a blessed week!

  • Why does he never sing this live?

  • "Three lines are necessary to form a plan figure; and three dimensions of length, breadth, and height, are necessary to form a solid." In the lyrics, Tommy sings, "only one shines above" and as a self-proclaimed Christian, he is referring to God, the Heavenly Father. So, maybe I'm wrong here but I think "Three Times In Love" is you need the third line (God) to make it complete. Listen to the words of 'Crystal Blue Persuasion', this is when Tommy was starting to embrace Christianity.

  • @jupitr2 good point, you need Christ to actually find true love in your life..

  • @lakings13 Amen, my fellow Christian!

  • @jupitr2 Shut up and listen to the music!

  • WOW!!!! What an awesome video and I LOVE this song!!! Good job to whoever made this video!

  • One of my favorite songs and a very well done video. I have this on a 45 but it is not in great shape having been played far too many times over the last 3o+ years.

  • A comeback hit for Tommy James in the early 80's, but man it sure sounds a lot like the Eagles.

  • Lovely song. I've always loved this tune and the video it isn't bad at all.Very professionally done. How is it that today's so called musicians and so called artist cannot produce good music of this caliber ? it's ALL CRAP these days,it's ALL recyclable garbage that will NOT (hopefully) be played any more.

  • it was great but for the pictures of the fags

  • GREAT video-forgot about this one

  • @castertunes1967 Heh - I was in 8th Grade when this was a hit (I was one year ahead)... And I had this on both a K-Tel album and then later on on its own album...

  • I remember this song on Video Concert Hall.

  • i wish he was still makeing great music like this song

  • I have great memories of this song while in my sr. year of HS at GBHS 1980.... Didn't know at the time how big an artist Tommy was, though I remember hearing the great DRAGGIN' THE LINE while a young boy...
