i got to spend some time with him in Athens, Ga, in march of 2011. i told him that this was one of my fav, songs of his. he really should play it more, live. so simple and says soooooo much. 'that bucket was broken but the water was pure.' if you haven't read his new novel, Bright's Passage, put it on your to-do list. i also have several live vids i have taken at 2 shows, here on YT, if you'd like to watch, i'd love to share. @JaneFaire I picked this up off a tv show, forgotten which one now, how I 1st. heard of David Grey. How do these people find these songs? One of my regrets is that I know there is so much great music & singers of great songs that I am never going to hear.

When I first heard this, I thought he was David Gray. They sound so alike. Lovely song.
