Fake. Police are trained to keep their weapons pointed at the suspects while approaching them even after firing. This is taught in basic police training.
@bisbeejim1 100% agree'd One officer must cover the suspect at all times untill he is secured. also they would never shoot when there are officers on both sides. it is cross fire, the officer behind the wall. would stay behind, sticking his body out is a clear sign of the bad quaility of the video
This is real. The his body reacts to each shot fired. Its not like in the movies when you get shot people, you dont go flying through windows. The officer seen him going for his pistol and reacted. Well done
@FRAGANZZIATENAZ Watch his right hand closely as he's putting the rifle down. He's pulling out a handgun, that's why the rear officer yells "GUN". We watched it today in Forensics
From this video i am NOT saying it's fake or real. but when the officer from the other side of the corner to me it looked like he saw everything even when the guy was dropping the gun. And when the criminal dropped it was a little more dramatic like you would see in a movie. And 3rd off what person comes up with a random camera shoots something like that with a man with a freaking AK-47? Honestly. I don't know but something about this is a little fishy to me...
It's not fake. It's a training video. Onesicfuk. He fell backward after being shot in the back, that's not how it happens. And wmkpiper, I've been in this situation before with a knife at close range. Thankfully we didn't have to shoot and the officer he charged happen to have his PR24 out as we thought we were going to be taking down an unarmed active resister, not an armed person, he was able to strike the subjects wrist . However, I yelled knife, not oh shit. It's all in the training.
first officer does not fire weapon. officer that does fire says "'gun" instead of "oh s--t". Dead giveaway as a training video. What if suspect had fake shield around his neck? Where are all the monday morning quarter backs out there? Oh yea. You only hear from them when the suspect pulls put his wallet when he is told dont' move.Too bad an ACLU lawyer didnt' get in the way.
I believe this video depicts officers training. If you look at the first officer you can see when he shoots the slide of his weapon does not go back. This is consistant when using air soft or seminitions. In addition the non chalant walk up doesn't help the authenticity.
@hedgedjsf agreed, standing policy when approaching a downed suspect would be to still have your firearm drawn , just in case you need to finish off the suspect if he tries firing again etc .... a firearm is never holstered until the suspect is without a doubt no longer a threat.
Faked. No blood spray. No cop would shoot with another cop behind the target.

@Cauld no blood spray?? this isn't a CSI show. It all depends on the handgun and caliber being used.

this has to be staged. that person was shot from behind, in which if he was shot in the head, he would've fallen forward, not backwards.

Don't know if it's a training exercise or not, but would be a good shooting either way. Look closer and you'll see the BG had a handgun also.
