the only thing hes using for the bad ass pinch harmonics is a digitech whammy. of course he has his normal distortion and chorus but the whamy is a pedal similar to a wah pedal but just makes the note go higher when the pedal is pressed forward.

He's doing his trademark DimeSqueal, when he does that, he just increases the gain with the MXR Wylde distortion pedal. That's about it, or am I still not getting it?
sounds like chorus mixed in with a shitload of reverb, and he used the BOSS CE1 Chorus pedal. The harmonizers that he used on the records were digitally made, he doesn't have a pedal for them. Sounds like there might be a small amount of flange in there.
I use detune effects with reverb, MXR Wylde distortion, and turn the treble allthe way up on everything. Sounds like a car ran over a cat which was just crapped on by a seagull.
yeah for alot of my songs i use the 'shallow' on the detune because if you go into deep the rate is just too too crazy. i use it alot to do pick harmonics and slowly bend them. sounds bass ass with my distortion.

That's a Whammy pedal, 2 octaves up. As far as I know Whammy is a registered trademark of DigiTech.
