Every year research is discovering that much of what we have been told about the Alamo is total frabrication, myth, and YES, sometimes outright lies. Read Exodus from the Alamo: Anatomy of the Last Stand Myth for those brave enough to question that most of what you have heard is bull. I will have more resource material next posting. For the serious people on the page, and not the brainwashed, we are open to hearing the otherside and the NEW research.

If you had any education you would know that those persons at the Alamo were commonly known as Americans as that was their country of residence until they decided to move into Mexico. @peterwhen um..no they were Mexican Citizens.and only fought against Mexico when that Dictator Violated the Mexican Constitution Texas was it's own country for awhile before joining the USA.

Also only about 40% of the Defends at the Alamo were Former Americans or Tennessee volunteers. the rest were Mexican and Indians. it helps when you read history.

Well the Navarro report will give the date of the Battle, and from my understanding is located at the University in Laredo, Texas. And from a knowlegeable historian what is recorded as the date of the battle is the wrong date (February 23 – March 6, 1836) if you refer to the Navarro report.
