Wow, every time I watch this clip I get goosebumps. Best group performance ever in Idol history.

Outside of 2003 (Guy, Shannon, Cosima, Paulini), this 2006 season of Idol stands above the rest - Leith, Mauboy, Bobby Flynn, Chris Muprhy, Klancie, Dean).

2004 was solid with Callea, Ricki-Lee and Hayley but was otherwise weak.

2005 and 2007 were terrible for Aussie Idol, with '07 arguably the worst (Corby, Marty Simpson and Carl Riseley in the Top 4!).

Fingers crossed for the 2008 season!

I live in Sydney, and personally can't stand the show. I'll watch it now and then, and'll take this over Big Brother ANY DAY!!! But I have a sneaking suspicion that the whole show is pretty-much rigged (as in 'fake').

I think there've been a few controversial decisions with the votes based on a certain church group paying moneys 'n stuff...

I really lost interest in the show, and don't see the appeal honestly, just like any other USA-inspired reality show.

I watch both Australian & American idol and Australian idol is better in sooooo many ways. On American Idol they can't even play their own instruments or sing original songs. I've seen American Idol group performances and they're not put together half as good. Sorry, but it's true.
