@zlozon I have about 1lb of weight on the front, and yes, the motors get hot and I've burned 2 up as well, gotta keep a IR thermometer with you and check the temp every couple of passes.

I have a Rustler VXL running on 8.4v Traxxas NiMH. This is not fast. I go buy a 3s next week with 31/76 gearing. I have the original VXL (Velineon) system. Do you have this VXL system to? Or do you have a Mamba Max Pro of Mamba Max Monster?
