It's quite spacious. One suggestion though: Get those photos off of the fridge, mount them on acid free paper and frame them. Keep them away from direct light as well or put them under UV protected glass. It looks like a great place to live.

where do you put the litter box? my apartment is set up a lot like yours and is equally clean and tidy... i want to get a cat but i'm worried about the smell and also damage to my furniture. whats your experience been?

@bizzle187 Hi! I am also a neat freak and this is my litter system: I keep the litter box in a concealed space, just because seeing the box with all that junk is disgusting. You can also buy a cat genie kitty toilet, it has a lifelong guarantee and you can flush it and conncet it to you own toilet. You can program it to flush iteself after you cat uses it. Otherwise, you can place the box inside a cat house, or inside a spair closet that of course, you will let you cat access.

@bizzle187 To avoid bacteria from the litter box, and odor, i use disposable latex gloves. I put the cat junk inside a disposable bag, make a knot and turn my gloves inside out to take the off while holding the bag with the dirty stuff. That causes the kitty poo to be trapped inside the glove/bag and I secure with a knot (think about that baby genie thing women get in baby showers to dispose of diapers.
