You're right. This song does fit. When I watched Gurren Lagann, I shit myself full of nostalgia for my years as a kid growing up, playing megaman, and watching Ultraman with friends I haven't seen in over a decade.

I don't even understand how more than one person has done this. It's like Don't Stop Me Now by Queen to scenes from Batman Begins. I don't see the connection between series and song and even so, your editing needs a real tweaking.
