It would have to be a 6V-92TA engine, because it was the standard-issue powerplant on these Generals from 1982-88. Yes, it could be specified with either the 6-71N, 8V-92TA, Cummins L10 or NTC, or the Cat 3406.

Its a 1955 to 1957 GMC, I'm not sure of the model series though, it could be a 550 or bigger since it is a tandem rear.
