  • That's Great

  • This video makes me want to cry, Sesame Street is such a beautiful idea. I am going to go to there website and give them a donation, because this is a cause that really touches my heart.

  • I miss sesame street and even now I have fond memories and only hope my kids will enjoy the work that was put into this great amazing street from Jim Henson and all others. :)

  • Yeah, I feel that American Sesame Street, since they introduced Elmo, has become less of a force in promoting equality between inner-city blacks and more affluent whites, and more as a sort of babysitter for affluent suburban toddlers. However, I hope the international versions of Sesame Street will help promote peace in Israel/Palestine and Kosovo and teach kids in South Africa about AIDS, among the other things Sesame Street both here and abroad teaches.

  • Sesame Street is truly the most beloved, most far-reaching street in the world. It's had the biggest influence on children (particularly in North America), where it's been a cultural phenomenon ever since it started.

But geographically speaking, the longest street in the world is either Yonge Street (in Canada) or the Pan-American Highway System (from Alaska to Argentina). It depends on who you ask, and what the criteria are. Yonge St held the Guinness World Record until fairly recently.

  • I wish Sesame Workshop bring back Sesame Street to Canada. They ruined the idea by introduing 'Sesame Park'. To all CBC execs: the 'street' is where it's at! =OS
