I loved this straightener! I bought it back in 2009 (I paid €60) and theyve lasted me until last christmas soooo theyve lasted 3 years, which is pretty good and well worth the money! :) I used it on my friend who has very frizzy and curly hair and it worked wonders!! BRILL STRAIGHTENER! :D

Over the years I bought 3 different Remington irons, the Wet 2 Straight, one super slim and cheap and the Shine Therapy, and they had the same problem in common: If I used in a low temp they didn´t straight my hair, and If I used them in a high temp, they did the job but fried my hair so badly and in a few hours was spongy!, I seriously recomend you to buy a good flat iron, ´cause we don´t should be cheap when talk about hair. When I bought my Sedu Pro Ionic Tourmaline, all my problems ended! :)

I have the GHD gold series now but had a Remington straightener before. And the Remington was quite good in comparison. The difference was that the GHD added shine to my hair and is faster. It also glides through hair better than my previous Remington. But i'm thinking of buying the Remington Pearl Wand but i'm still not quite sure. Do you know if it's any good? Thanks :]

Well.... after a few years you hair is getting old and needs more attention with every product or machine that touch it

Now please choose a good brand sometimes a good price is a proof to say that is not a nice product. I have Herstyler products and i never gonna said an complaint about it. Sorry for my English Is not my mother language...

I know your video is a year old now but you mentioned that you might buy GHDs. Well I would of suggested you buy the 'Cloud Nine" straighteners. Made by the founders of GHD but the difference is that the Cloud Nine has different heat settings and there is a secret ingredient in the ceramic plates. The GHD has only 1 high heat setting and this is too hot for some people.

To be honest, it's prob just best not to use a heat product on wet hair, right??!

I just bought this flat iron because it got such great reviews online. I have medium length naturally curly and VERY thick hair. But this iron still manages to get it stick straight with shine. IT WORKS BETTER THAN MY CHI!!!!! I recommend only using it on dry hair. A lot of people complain about it burning their hair but you need to try using it on the lowest heat setting and make sure your hair is dry and has a heat protectant on it. Hope this helps you ladies out!

@23hkgrl In My Personal Experience Yes, I Really Dont Like Any Of The Remington Straighteners At All. I Had This Exact One But The Older Model, Still The Same Though. And It Defenitly Snags Hair And Breaks It Of ALOT. Now If You Have Pretty Much Straight Hair This May Work For You, But I Have Really Really Curly Hair And It Did No Good, It Straightened But Boy Did It Leave My Hair Burnt & Fried! And The Smell Was Horrible! Same With Wet 2 Straight Ones!

@Trishax97x Thank you :) My hair was probably at its least healthy in this video, but I don't heat style it very often, I probably straighten it once a week if that, and I only wash my hair twice a week. Kind of makes it a bit healthier which will help it to grow :)

@IoannkaPapa no, they definitely don't make my hair any shinier. But, they straighten well and I don't need to restraighten my hair until I wash it again. My hair is really frizzy, damaged and colour treated, and it's never ever shiny! x x
