really great toss but you gotta work on that form a little more im sure if you throw the disc flat throughout your entire throw it will go much further and more predictable also, instead of bringing it from way up high and then releasing
i live in indiana but ive been coming to michigan all my life, ive been to these dunes, ive climbed them, and ive ran all the way back down them. all when i was about 10. they arent that hard to climb. you're just a pussy ass bitch. cheers! : ]
cool, im going up north (not too far from the sleeping bear dunes), ive been there once before and because of these epic disc golf videos ive been seeing, i might get into that, seems pretty cool, accepting the fact thats its most likely harder than it looks, like most things...
U Know that if u put flashing lights on the bottom of the Frisbee at night some guy at the bottom of the hill would be completely freaked out !!!! LOL :D
Haha, I live in Traverse City and me and some friends went up there on that flat part shown in the video and drew a giant penis. Lmao. I like the courses around here. I want to go to the one in Maple City or Cedar. (Cant remember where its at)
it wouldnt be the worlds longest throw because its was down a big hill... which means shorter distance.... the longest throw was 820' on FLAT ground... this wasnt even close
The whole mile thing was a bit exaggerated, but it was still flying 14 seconds into the video. It was my dad who happens too be blind as a bat on the camera and honestly I lost sight of it too and never recovered the disc. Distance will come in time work on keeping drives in the fairway.
if you throw the disc into a headwind downhill it should stay up there for a couple of minutes not 14 seconds.............lame guys keep working on it though.
this is in the UP right? is it near pictured rocks, or the grand sable dunes. i just went there last summer and didnt think about frolfing up there i think it would be awesome to frolf at some dunes
not up in the UP but close just west of Mackinaw and near Lake Michigan these dunes are insanely steep and hard to climb. There are some nice courses in Traverse City with lots of elevation.
Sorry about the quality of video it came out bad on myspace. It is breath taking to watch a disc fly like that. It was worth losing that disc just to see it glide, " tis why I play the sport just to watch them go."
camera mans a retard

I agree a mile is a real exaggeration but it felt like a mile walking all the way up to that spot on the dunes.
discmaster1000 10 months ago 8
Even with the elevation , this is never even half a mile...
saemj 10 months ago
so lame. i love how u guys call throwing a frisbee a "drive". U are fucking throwing a god dam frisbee, not driving it idiots!
SRM30 10 months ago
@SRM30 It's not a frisbee. And yes, it's disc golf, so we use golf terminoligy. Deal with it.
saemj 10 months ago
@SRM30 yeah, and hitting a ball with a golf club is really driving? You need to shut the fuck up.
TrainxWreck420 10 months ago
@TrainxWreck420 . yeah, that's exactly what it is called when you hit a golf ball with a driver..... fucking dumb ass!!
SRM30 10 months ago
@SRM30 and thats what its called when you throw a disc. You cum dumpster.
TrainxWreck420 10 months ago
@TrainxWreck420 eh......no. u are the load that should have been swallowed! now go throw ur gay firsbee, oh sorry i mean ``DISC``
SRM30 10 months ago
Really good throw but the only reason it's going that distance is because of the elevation

yetibiker08 1 year ago
@yetibiker08 a couple minutes?!? the disc would have to fly like 2 miles to be up for a couple minutes
21tom21lin21son21 1 year ago
@21tom21lin21son21
If you throw it into a headwind you could easily keep it aloft for a couple of minutes just depends where such as Angel Falls in South America!!
yetibiker08 1 year ago
@insulatedmemory Practice good form, solid one fluent motion and a full follow through is all it takes to bomb a good disc
