MK has been like my favorite character since Kirby's All-Stars I play him alot. He's not actually as broken as alot of people think, I went to a comp and there was a really good fox player (yuck) who gayed me to death lol (gay meaning short hop down smash)

If you know your character and you know MK then your chances are significantly improved.

the only proof i have of that it is their first time is the fact that they try to wave dash (using the R button to kinda float in sky). A person who has played already would know that you cant do it in brawl. But also you had to have unlocked link in the first place so its definitely not your first time playing

hmm...well...you need to know for starters that when using the drill, after you hit him, aim down so that the move ends on the grounds and you dont have to go through him attacking you while your falling. Also, you got punished to much. Nice job keeping him off the edge though :). Betcha i cauld beat you (no, not an insult or a threat) battle me sometime. My friend codes on my channel. Meta Knight is very easy to get good with. I had played as him a few times...but then started playing w/ other people. Now it's been a few months and I played as MK for the first time. In my very 1st fight, I killed Olimar in a 3 stock match only taking like 55 damage and never dying. I kept fighting and I never died more than once per match. I probably died 7 times out of 10 matches.  I did it against other characters too. He doesn't take a lot of getting used to, he's easy to start as.

take a look at the video reponse i put down, review it, i won my match against a similar style MK, they are EXTREMELY difficult to fight probably the toughest character to fight, but they can be beat, just use your fastest moves and spam projectiles (i don't think i did but thats my advice) and smash, smash, smash when you know you can hit, MK is very light you would be amazed of how early he can die

fasted?? You mean fastest. Also It was just a joke. A character is only good depending on the skills of the player. Take me for example Ike is slower than Pikachu, but everyone I faced who played Pikachu(Players with alot of skills) lost to me. Why because I practice technique combos with Ike. Also use his dash as a means of recovery. It's really hard for someone to KO me. As C. Falcon I landed 12 falcon punches on my opponents.

You use his dash? I assume you mean quick draw. If I am correct then you faced players with little skill to average skill. A highly skilled player will jump in front of Ike as he uses quick draw. After the move hits he has almost no horizontal movement anymore and drops like a brick since he is helpless. Thus meaning you fail to recover. The same tactic can be done to Jigglypuff's roll out or Ness's pk thunder 2. I'm probably forgetting others you can do similar gimps to.

Unlike most people I can utilize Ike's Quick Draw. I do face highly skilled players. But my opponents forget 1 important thing Im very unpredictable. Yes its true about Ike's Quick Draw. But I know how to master this move to the full potential. This is why my current record on the Wifi is 200W-2L.

They're clearly not as highly skilled as you seem to say they are. Ike must fall with a certain range every time. As well must use it before he goes under the stage ledge. Unless someone is using a slow falling character like Lucario, Ike is easy to edge guard that way. Being "unpredictable" is impossible with quick draw. It only goes forward. All you need to do is just follow Ike down until he can't recover.

What I meant about unpredictable is about when I activate the moves. Other than a means of Recovery. That's what I meant. I could use at the start or at an SD but Im unpredictable I can use fake out tactics.

It's not unpredictable. It's start up lag makes it look like his forward hit (not the smash, but the holding of forward) so most react with a shield or jump up to avoid it. The only unpredictable thing with Ike is his Eruption online because its Super Armor when online seems to last longer than it should at random times.

I think they explode at the same time but in the air link sinks like a rock toon link is lighter, more agile, and has a sweet recovery from someone who doesn't fly or float.

A good MetaKnight will always give Toon Link problems. The best way to beat a Meta knight is by giving TL some space and using projectiles. It might not look pretty, but it will get the job done.
