i dont understand, why doesn't he block the body splash...? is it too late by the time he stands up that the sprite literally won't recover in time to go into blocking animation?
Theres 2 parts to the body splash. One is when he is falling to the ground. If you are close enough this can hit you and you can block it. The second part is the shockwave. This hits full screen but only hit the you if they are standing, this part is unblockable.
Tiers don't matter much here. In any case Slayer is supposed to be higher Tier than Potemkin. Problem is, Slayer vs Potemkin is one of the worst matchups for Slayer.
I disagree that pot is a terrible match up for slayer, from what I've been hearing it's better now than it used to be and some characters like Eddie and Testament can give slayer a lot of trouble.
On okizeme, drop a web trap right above the opponent before they stand. Now do 6K or 6P (I forget which). It's unblockable because it forces you to block 2 places at once.
That's not unblockable because the web doesn't hit high or low. If you block Testament's 6P overhead (or low, depending on which one he throws), you won't get hit.
@LUEcifer Webs are blocked mid, not high or low, you can't create an unblockable with webs at all. The only unblockables testament has are off of curse setups and knowing when the crow overhead attack comes, and those are incredibly situational.
pot is so cheezy. yes its a change in ac. the major difference is you being able to otg off slidehead. yes pot takes skill to use, but slide head otg combos are really lame imo.
Potemkin is the hardest in the game to master for real. he is either garbage or dumb sick, just like all big chars in a fighting game, i.e Zangeif and Hugo
