Half Life 2 : Killing Eli in Nova Prospekt (Major Glitch)

I don't like how the zombies in SMOD lost their headcrabs.

The Headcrabs are the only thing that made the Half Life zombies believable. Having people with unsurvivable injuries walking around on their own ruins the effect for me.

I took one of the turrets from the standoff with me but it began to shoot at Mossman. Just before Eli was teleported, the turret shot at him, causing his death. Alyx stood there, silently and awkwardly while Mossman was running to random spaces periodically. Killing myself made no change as when the pod carrying Eli opened, his lifeless body just fell to the floor. True story.

I thought I could make things easier at that section by bringing one of the extra turrets there (I placed it near the door at the far end next to the control panel). Then when Eli was brought in just as Alyx started taking to him... RATATATATAT!!! Dead, fell to the floor. And Alyx and Judith just staring at his body (what made it even weirder was that I had the Miku Hatsune model installed to replace Alyx; now I wish I had recorded that scene).

I know another way without using mods: At the need to do is bring an auto turret from the 2nd ambush to the end of the level (the ones in the room don't work) when you have to wait for alyx to stop talking and eli is being lowered into the teleport, pull out the turret and it should kill him. Only drawback is the story doesn't progress. He just lies dead in the teleport and you have to kill yourself.

Omfg.. That's not a glitch.. If you didn't noclip then you wouldn't be able to see him.. Glitches are things that will make your game experience less good. If you played it the REAL way then this would not happen.

omg! So alyx's father is gordon? Who did he knock up and how?!???? Anyways i discovered a glitch today. Just look at the ground and hit it with a shovel. Then jump and keep swinging that shovel and you will fly around. Definitely helpful if your stuck on a level or your going egg hunting
