    Thanks for sharing this video. I love seeing other Keeshonden that love the water!

    @VicDeHaven

    I agree that in most circumstances any Keeshond should wear a life jacket. The Keeshonden that we have/had love the beach/pool and go swimming with us or come and go as they please.

    Anywhere they could be "stranded" though, a lifejacket is a must. (just like we don't want to swim in jeans and waterlogged wool.)

    As for your "people dogs" FYI - Nothing more true than that for the breed!

  • Jedi having a good time. Go Jedi. One of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.

  • Wearing a life jacket is thee ONLY way to have a Keeshond in the water. Otherwise when their fur gets waterlogged they have a very hard time staying afloat. And then they are terrified.

    (People that can not read a critter's expressions have no business owning them)

    . Good job TerraNik

    BTW people, Keeshonden are "people dogs".

    Please do not leave them alone any longer than you have to. Left on their own they can become naughty and turn into noisy, escape artists.

  • Is that a lifejacket on him? :-) Too sweet!

  • Yup, it is... We bought it for him to use when he's on our boat (just in case!).

  • Yay ! The lifejacket is a nice touch.

    Without a flotation device my Keeshonden would feel like they were drowning cuz their fur gets so heavy when wet.

    And this is definitely the ONLY way to go if you are boat people.

  • Too cute!!

  • thats one wet dog
