actually all of these phones are iphone wannabes. iPhone is the first TRUE touchphone on the market with a cool design , cool interface, simple to use. The other phones get better and better and start catching up to the iphone but the bare truth is iphone is the best one on the market when you view it from a versatility point of view. Who needs word and excel on a 4" screen anyway ?

There were lot of capacitive touch screen phones that were released before the iphone, Iphone just provided a ipod entertainment package and SDK for young folks. Most of the previous touchscreen phones were for business or functional purposes which doesn't appeal to the young crowd.
