I tried to give “Christian rock” a chance, at the request of some Christian friends, and I remember how crappy the music was. Each song sounded like a standard sermon of sycophantic praise to Jesus, with a badly written melody attached to those lyrics as an afterthought. This South Park episode perfectly captured the absurdity, and unintended sexual innuendo, of “Christian Rock".

If I define god as a cylindrical vessel which holds my coffee, then guess what, a god exists - it's the coffee mug in front of me now, it can be held, drank out of, prayed to, whatever - once a thing is defined adequately it can (usually) be proved or disproved. If any theist claims their purported deity interacts with the material universe (the only one we know exists), then those claims can be investigated and explained or debunked through science.

This isn't really offensive to Christians... It's offensive to christian music, but not Christians. Besides South Parks humour isn't based on offending people, there is actually a really smart message or perspective on things. Sure, the show pushes boundaries, but rarely they push a boundary without their being a point to it, or for them trying to prove something.
